Reading your post regarding Karens and Kens brought to mind an incident on Lk Washington years ago.
While fishing a cove North of the I-90 bridge with Mark W. we encountered a man who after yelling at us to get away from his dock started driving golf balls at us hitting the boat once. After threating him with calling the police, which had no effect, Mark did exactly that. Soon a King County Deputy arrived and after hearing our story and seeing the golf ball which we produced, he berated the homeowner and advised him to cease and desist or face possible charges. All in all a funny situation which was worth the wait for the deputy to see the expression on the homeowners face as the Deputy Sheriff "counseled" him.
