It has been brought to my attention that David Guidice has been acting inappropriately again on several bass fishing sites. I have given him every opportunity to clean up his record and actions. As we all know Megastrike, as well as many other fishermen on the boards tried to help him out in the way of free product and gifts. It was all done with the best of intentions. I had just written a letter to David and he has officially been terminated from any affiliation with MegaStrike Inc. It is sad and I regret to do this to anyone but our reputation is at stake here. I will tell you what i did do one time at one of the shows. I put MegaStrike on a pebble and droped it into the tank. A bass came over and ate the pebble with 20 witnesses there. The guy that had the tank flipped out and said hows he going to crap that out.. Later I watched at the end of the show the guy draining the tank and giving all of the bass away to the guys sweeping the place up- Go figure.

LOL I am biased only because i have been doing this for over 14 years. I see what works and what dosent- i separate fact from fiction using science.I also have put baits in tanks and i did this in from of 100 people at ICAST - put a bait wit no attractant on the bottom of the bass tank with no lookers what-so-ever-and then put a bait in there with The MegaStrike on there and a bass found that bait -no line or hook attached-found the bait on the bottom and swallowed it- needless to say it was the move that boomed sales for us there. Ive got to find a way to get this footage on here for you guys to watch. It really is some good stuff.

UT OH !! Looks like Dr Jones sold another book -LOL-- Scent does attract bass as well as other fish PERIOD.. Bass are primarily sight feeders for sure.What I have tested with MegaStrike and I have footage of it-is this.. I removed hooks from baits -all types. As you say the reaction baits ect. When a bass would strike a bait and it didn't have any Megastrike on it-the bass would rarely strike it a second time- I have footage of a bass that will come back and strike it 7 times over and over again with the Megastrike applied. A bass does not catch every bait fish it attacks. I have seen bass smash bait fish only to open their mouths for a split second and that bait fish swims for its life. It escapes. The bass will relentlessly attack that bait over and over again until it kills or stuns the bait, then proceeds to eats it. The same concept applies with a lure-If it tastes real-they keep attacking it thinking its just escaping . If it doesn't taste real-they go on their way.

We just finished up production on the 3/4 oz Shak-e2 Head. The head made its debut at the ASA's Worcester Mass Show. We have been fishing prototypes since last fall with great success. It can be used with 10inch worms- large lizards -beavers / smaller swimbaits -anything. It comes with a 4/O heavy duty flippn hook on there. It rolls forward keeping the big worms vertical. Every bait we used landed upright every time.I also designed it for flippn thick mats of grass-water chestnuts ect. Im telling you this head is amazing. Im trying to load a small video here just to see. Here is a pic but still trying for videos.

Buck, I am friends with Dave from Venom- he cooks the base right into the baits.You can take the Megastrike and put it right on top of the existing baits. No harm what so ever. We have been getting reports from California and Texas-(where its warm) about the New Formula with great results. Give it a try -if you dont like it we will buy it back.

Trip, You can apply MegaStrike to just about any bait. As soon as you apply it just start fishing.I reapply MegaStrike when I feel the bait and it is dry. My motto"When its dry-reapply". I am sure you will be happy. Be careful with that new formula- Strong stuff

I have to say -it was put together better than any show that has been on in years. Great footage-and it promoted our sport better than any show I have ever seen. Great job National Geograhic as usual.Anyone else watch it- Lets hear your opinions-

Like I said I will send you some Evo2's . I have total confidence that you will be happy with them. What about the Shak-E2. The Evo2's have heavy duty flippn hooks on them. Tell your little brother when he gets hung up he can wrap the braid around the cleat of the boat-put the trolling motor on high and yank that stump out of the ground.

Tin, First of all we accept all criticisms. Thats how we learn. As for the hooks- They are Gamakatsu hooks- The only time I heard about the hooks bending were from guys that were using 50 lb braid. Go figure. Maybe I should take this up with gamy- -I am paying top dollar for themI am not calling you a liar but for any hook, never mind a Gamakatsu straightening out on a 2 lb fish- I have caught 6-7 lb bass and not straightened them out. As for the weedguard- yes bumped up the stiffness-as for the bottom fulcrum area -I havent seen it grab any more weeds than any other jig.We are always striving to create the best product we can. As for the other guys here jumping in-dont be so harsh on them- maybe they didnt have any issues. The reason hook company's started making "Super hooks" is for the braid. The New Evo 2 Jigs are made with heavy duty hooks-smaller profile - "Stealthier" profile for getting into tighter areas. The point I was making to begin with is I havent seen the jig get caught in the rocks more than any other jig- which is in response to your "Arrogant *****" comment to begin with LOL If you are not happy with the Evo's just return them and I will replace them with the New Evo 2's= The hooks definitly will not bend out even with the braid.Like I said in the beginning -we are all friends here" and we back all of our products 100%. thank you, Bobby@Megastrike

I truly believe what I have formulated in the New MegaStrike can be considered an "ATTRACTANT". It scares the living heck out of me but I really think I nailed it this time. I'm not blowing my horn here but I think this product is superior to anything on the market. It tastes,smells and performs like nothing I have ever seen or used. I can put it in front of a bass-not move the bait and the bass will find it by smell-THEN THEY WILL SWALLOW WHATEVER BAIT I PUT IT ON. Fish are sight feeders by nature. Yes a dispersion of flavor will entice a fish to strike a bait if it is in a negative feeding mode. They are opportunists for the most part. Fish will not be able to track down scented baits moving at typical fishing speeds like we do when fishing spinnerbaits crankbaits ect. Those are reaction strikes.Slower moving or worked baits sitting for a while are easier to find such as worms ,jigs ect. (drop baits) They only way they can detect a location would probably be from being downstream in a river or any type of flowing current. As for the scent with the oil -based sprays. -oil and water do no mix-They will never aid in attracting fish. In the ocean -fisheries biologists have found that bait fish give off or disperse oils when excited or frightened. They claim predator fish can detect these oils not by smell but by sight on top of the water. Fishermen have looked for these "oil slicks" to find feeding schools of fish feasting on the baitfish.

Well after working on this project for about 9 months it is done.We finished making approx.20,000 tubes of the New Formula MegaStrike. Fin-man- The new odor is not offensive at all- When we started making it in test batches it was a turn on- I said Yeah baby thats what I was looking for. What is unique about the new formula is it has more water soluble ingredients. It has a more profuse dispersion rate.. It is the best of the best. I can drop it into the bass and they will swallow anything I put it on. "There nothing like the smell of "goo" first thing in the morning."

What model of Evo were you saying was a half a skirt. The finesse models were designed with a thinner skirt material for a smaller profile. the heavy cover Evos have 45 strand skirts. When packaged the skirt is turned to one side so it doesn't get hung up in the clasp. Just adjust the skirt evenly around the color and it should be good to go. As for the hang ups>>??? I never seemed to have a problem with them. The new EVO2 Is a totally new creature.That Jig is the total package. Smaller profile- heavy duty flipping hook. Thicker weed guard- $2.00 cheaper per pack. Like I said I never had a problem with the Original Evo. I use them every time I go out. Here is a pic of the EVO2
