  1. The problem I find in todays business world is that companies forgot the word INTEGRITY. I believe that is the most important part of the company. Word of mouth will sell products for them . They all seem like snake-oils salesmen. Once they have your money-they dont care what happens after the sale. There are some great companies out there that still live by a code of ethics. It is taught to them by their families- and upbringings.it is something that is usually not forgotten. Teach your kids the right way you will be proud of them forever.
  2. FUNCTIONALITY- PRODUCTIVITY - ATTENTION TO DETAIL- and having great customer service -THATS ALL YOU NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT AND COMPANY

  10. Rolo-I am a grown man of 47 years old. I have had 6 fiberglass bass boats and fished tons of tournaments in big water. Let me tell you I have never ever been so frightened than practicing for a BassMasters Tournament back in 94. We went 35 miles out to Lake Ont. smooth as glass- Then at noon the wind started -10 footers -no GPS or cell phones back then-Let me tell you 3 hours back it was scary-didnt think we were going to make it. Some of the best fishing in the country
  11. Frattin is a reaction strike . Rarely do I see them nip at a bait. The saying I have with froggn and rattn-when they want it-they want it-they try to crush them
  12. LOL Thats why its called pay to play masters
  13. EVO2 Jigs 2 per pk- $7.95 available at wwwtacklewarehouse.com
  14. Little Stephen- You seem to be on the right track in your approach to fishing-Absolutely- change things up-Evolve-Mutate- Thats how most of the best fishing fishing lures are designed-adaptations for original ideas. Thats how you can catch more and better quality fish. MY sayings in life "EVOLVE OR BECOME EXTINCT" and "DARE TO DREAM"
  15. Because of its massive weed beds Guntersville-is known for its rat fishing-there isnt a faster way to cover water on them-The point I really was looking to make was that rattn' really wasnt mainstreamed until Mr Pines won the Bassmasters tournament at 1000 Islands-I was won in an area called Lake Of the Isles. I learned that technique up there as well as theJohnson Silver Minnow with a trailer over the mats because the rats back then were absolutly terrible.

  17. Check out the new EVO 2 http://lineart.redshad.com/E2/ I guarantee you like them www.megastrike.com
  18. Like i stated I dont think he (Jeff) was the inventor of the wacky rig but he was the inventor of the "Jersey Rigg" which was the name of his baits. Yes there was an article with him in it in a Bassmasters Article years ago. I'm still goin to kick his @ss
  19. The best time that I do frattn' Hey I just made that up-froggn/rattn- you heard it here first. anyway, the best time is right smack in the middle of summer. Those bass dig in deep under those mats of grass-look for the good green stuff/more oxygen and use a good quality frog like a Spro-You might not get a lot of fish but man they are usually good ones.
  20. Fact-The jersey rigg was started by a very good friend of mine named Jeff Cammerino. It originated while he was fishing a lake and couldnt buy a bite. He was under a tree and a Gypsy Moth catapiller fell into the water. As he was watching it while he was fishing a bass came up and swallowed the caterpillar. He grabbed a rubber worm cut the end off rigged it in the middle so it wiggled like the caterpillar started catching fish. Thus the "JERSEY RIGG was born. He developed a plastic worm with some cuts in it to bend with a twitching motion. He sold thousands of bags at shows and to local stores-They were only about 4 inches long-no salt and just had flake in them. He was marketing them and then the Senko came along and stole the spotlight. This was in the early 80's/ Jeff is now a Game Warden at Lake Wallenpaupack PA. He is an accomplished guitarist as well. I am also going to kick his @ss the next time I see him because he hasent seen me in over 10 years. That is the fact of the Jersey Rigg. There could have been an earlier wacky rigg than that because this was in the early 80's IM THROUGH
  21. Rats and buzzbait fishing-the two most exciting ways to get a heart attack
  22. There was a post below and it brought back a few memories. Frog fishing really hit public mainstream bass fishermen when a man named Dusty Pines won the 1000 Island BassMasters Tournament back in the early 90"s. It was called Rattn back then. There were no real state of the art frogs like the Spro's back then. Hook up ratio"s were about 25%. I started fishing the Hudson River back in the 80's. There was a non evasive weed there called the water chestnut. Oh my god ! What a nightmare these things were. For you fishermen that dont know what they are. They are the meanest weed known to man-they are the snake heads of the aquatic kingdom. Like everything else in life they have their upsides and down sides. First they are like lily pads on top. Below they are like a jungle of vines. They can grow to 10 feet long and grow in massive fields. I have seen modern 225 HP motors run into them and stop dead. It takes about a half hour to get the vines untangled off your prop. There is no trolling motor alive that can get very far in them. What it did though was protect the bass from anglers allowing accessibility to them. They harbored big bass-They offered a great canopy for the bass to sit under as well as bait fish to thrive in. The only way to fish them was to flip the edges or the first few feet in by pitching or flipping. Once you hooked the bass it was a nightmare trying to get them out. Again landing that fish was about 50%. One thing I knew is the big bass lived in the chestnuts. If you caught five bass you were cashing a check. So the rats or frogs we used were usually the older Manns style. We would throw the baits over the weeds and drag them back. I have seen some of the most explosive strikes while doing this. Reaction strike isn't the proper terminology. They would miss it 50% of the time never to come back-just try a follow up bait but thats another story. When they did hit it and we would set the hook-the bass would release the bait only to have it hit me or my partner in the head or chest. They just let it go. I would apply the megastrike to the baits. Now using a stout rod and heavy line the bass would hit the bait-I would wait until I could feel them -then set the hook.Ya have to keep their heads up and basically water ski them over the weeds or they are gone. Not only did the MegaStrike lube the baits to come across the vegetation easier but the fish held on to it which allowed my hook up ratio to increase considerably. It was like fishing live bait with my dad when I was little-when they hit-count to three-feel them then set it.I have used the goo with all of the modern type frogs now-I still call it rattn' -the use of better rods and braided line also help you increase the hook up ratio..Its one of the only techniques I use braid for. LOW STRETCH Try rattn with some Megastrike and I promise you that it is some of the most explosive action there is on the water. Remember the big fish live in the thick stuff.Gettn them out is half the fun.

  24. We conducted a little test a few years ago to see how many baits you could "smear" or coat with one tube of Megastrike. It was literally more than 1000 applications. If you do the math-it was less than 1/2 a cent per application. I figure its the best insurance policy in the fishing industry .
