I see you bought some cavitron's . Good for you, I see you bought one of the first clacker models. It's buzz bait time. I promise you will catch some giants and also numbers now that the water is cooling .

For all of you guys that are stating that the cavitron tracks off to the side or swims on a 45-HERE IS THE ISSUE -you are fishing it too fast-just slow it down PERIOD THE END-

Hmmm -are Cavitrons no good- Watch and learn my friends- Why are they so expensive- Well every one is made here in the USA -Made in America by Americans -not for a half a bowl of rice in some sweat shop- My blades are custom made and anodized in a separate facility- blade prices tripled in the last 10 years. Mustad Ultra points have doubled in price- lead has gone up-skirts have gone up-packaging has gone up -shipping has tripled in the last 8 years- My workers who assemble are making 14-15 dollars an hour- Workers comp-taxes insurance-- live in NJ where warehousing is twice as expensive as most states- packaging-cards-master cartons-free shipping to distributors and get beat the hell up for doing it-paid in 60 days if youre lucky- HMM did I forget anything--Now ya know why companies go over seas and can sell buzzbaits for $3.99- Think about it -we sell to distributors -they sell to dealers-they sell retail to fishermen- Back it off percentage wise and tell me what i make per buzzbait- Ya gotta be kidding me Ok enough of the rant just go buy any buzzbait ya want -just go out and go fishing -life is short and so is Glenn

He started barking off by saying I have a problem with your tube of Megastrike-I said Ok I'm listening --He said the back end opened up and went all over my boat - I said what happened -He said I stepped on it-- I said how much you weigh -he said 240 I said ya fat bass$%$ no wonder it broke-- he started laughing-and I sent him 3 new tubes--Now he calls me once a month just to shoot the $hit--

I look at everything in life and say "How can i make it better?" more functional-more innovation is the phrase- It has worked out well for me. How many times have you guys said-"hey i thought of that years ago and now see it on the market"- Well like Nike says "JUST DO IT" Like Steve did with Rage- Added a flange on a tail and made it better- all companies do it If not someone will and they will reap the rewards. There are leaders and followers Which one are you???

I call it a Palomine knot because if you are my partner in a tournament and you lose a fish due to a snapped line due to the knot -YOU are no longer a PAL O MINE

Ok here's my thought. I think that the most important piece of equipment or item to the fishing industry every year is the technology of fish finders. These things are a huge part of anglers arsenals now. Without them fishing off shore is a waste of time. 16 inch screens and unbelievable detailed imaging, gps it's like playing video games. It's probably the weakest part of my fishing skills. The younger anglers brought up in the computer age have this stuff down pat. Make them so old men like me can play. And l forgot. In closing happy 4th and I would protect all of you with my life .

Not trying to toot just if you go to icast you will see what I mean. I've talked to so many people that say the same thing . Believe me I use plenty of other companies lures. If it's catching fish I'm using it. It's just that I want to see new and innovative products. Again same frog with different paint jobs with someone else's name on it. I believe that the #1 issue with frogs is hook up ratios so move the freaknhook .crank baits ,do the death roll. Swim baits all swim good but dummy Bucca s probably impressed me the most but don't tell him. His head is bigger than mine . Cmon find the triggering qualities and apply them to new creations. Functionality is key. And for the record I'm scoping out where Glenn is filming and going to all of the sudden get a case of whooping cough.

It's a freakn dog and pony show. Over priced everything, booth,set up,carpet,lights, cost me 10000 to go every year. So look at the bassmasters link and as you see ,same cranks jerbaits,frogs,reels,rods,jigs. Oh I'm done ,the innovation is gone. Time for me to come out of retirement as start playing again.

Ive gone to ICAST 15 years in a row now- Last year I walked around and its turning into an apparel store- Same old stuff with someone else having their name on it. Nothing said i had to have it.
