yeah at an office building lake! its a fairly open lake with a great fishery that someone like me, without a boat, can fish. went out again today caught 9 schooling no size but it was crazy schooling in a little lake like that!

biggest one ive caught on a crig! fight was great! caught him on zoom watermelon magic trick work criged on a DEEEEP cast! so excited was a great fight first good fish in a while! sorry i look weird i was more worried about gettin him back to his home then taking a perfect pic!

been schooling steady out on tocoi point for 2 straight days same time throw a devils horse. didnt catch a single thing when it got hot just beatin bank with speed worms and throwin the crig on points got me two additional bass biggest today was 4 pounds 3 ounces not that great of a day!

i know what you mean brokeju about tourney time! Ive shared info with the wrong people before and had good schooling spots hit hard where the fish wouldnt hit anything you through at em! and ESPECIALLY around tourney time! anyways nice fish! couldnt imagine 5-6 lbers not photo worthy! i take pictures of 13 inchers! almost made a post with my 1st carolina rig bass who was a mighty 10incher!

Any one know any good places to shore fish? stranded on land for now and im itching to catch some lunkers! I fish the same water EVERY day and you guys know how that works! i get tired of waiting for good fishing on the weekends when i get on the boat i have some shore spots we can trade info !

oh skillet, its really easy to target them just throw on your most expensive lucky craft crankbait and they'll hit it every time!

i have had a bad year so far this year! i have thought about quitting so many times! get a partner it helps! im only 17, a recent graduate with no boat shore fishing and i just got back from a 7+ hour trip on the bank in 99 degree weather with not ONE fish lol but it was great it beats being home. my problem is i fish a lake once and if i catch nothing i give up on it and never come back. just fish slow. nothings wrong with live bait. ps-i havent caught a bass in my last 5 outings:( but tomorrow morning you can bet ill be out there as that suns rising

im from florida and i say cali will have the world record in the next 10 years. i also have confidence that florida will come up with the next 20 pound certified fish. either stick marsh, or tenroc. there is also a lovely place called kingsley lake in clay county florida. its a man made lake, a perfect circle, and is part of a military base. the did bombings and all sorts of things in it and its 70+ feet dead center. several 12+ pounders have came out of there. I have seen some scary bass swimming around the shallows during bedding season!!!! keeps you drOOOOLIngggg. and for this 28 pound pass i caught him on a beetle spin in my back yard. he killed it. its on several FL bass forums with a fuller story and more pictures. the catch of a lifetime for us everyday fisherman. that could've been my once in a lifetime fish.

where are you catching six pound bass on base? the river is full of hydrilla and knowing how to fish it can result in a 30+ day. other than that i would suggest welatka area. if you have electronics to to lake kingsley on camp blanding. find the DD's at 40 feet and hold on.

i wish i can see the snake in the water as it is inhaled by a DD i, presonally have hooked small water snakes in the head because their tails are underwater slightly when they swim. anyways ive never caught a fish off one GOOD LUCK!

from reading ls1jay's report than arul's i think the fish must have been on vacation. maybe i dont have an understanding of what the dollarweed is?

Weekend trip is on deck everyone? Both of these lakes are incredible but i am worried about not know enough about Tenroc and the Pits, and/or killing the boat navigating around Stick Marsh? Gimme your opinions? So far Tenroc is winning!

details about these locations and maybe maps? that would be appreciated i could not tell you if the suwanne river was south of george or not, but that he does not wanna go to ok, toho, kiss, walkinwater, harris, or any of those. stick marsh is looking good though

a weekend trip is on deck! i reside in NE florida and have fished every lake north of lake george. my dad wants to take the trip farther south! and recommendations? he is terrified of stick marsh and navigating around it! is it that dangerous? i dont get the maps:) can anyone name some hot hot locations south of george. harris chain is out of the question, but he threw in suwanne river and even varner in GA! can anyone give me their opinion? trying to make a memory with him im thinking the memory of me catching a DD in stick marsh and him not doing so sounds good? and stick farm information? please help PM me or whatever thanks everyone im curious about varner too, seeing randal makes me wonder

well since i have to post about an outing i will. saturday-75 beds no fish saturday night-backin the boat up and snapped 3 rods on a tree! GDit sunday-1 dink horrible fishin weekend. but it was great to see my dad snap his rods now i have more setups than him! hahah i caught my 37th bass today! not that good he is beating me by 32? i dont get it. its the rules to life father always has to win:(

last time. since everyone thinks my ruler is 15 inches. here is a fish from the summer. same ruler. different fish. it is also laying next to a 6 inch trick worm im not sure how big this fish was but this is another ruler shot.

you are correct. i apologize for saying it was 26. i thought it was. why would they make a 22inch ruler? anyways 6.3 of 4.5 its my biggest bass this year and if i wasnt proud of it i wouldnt post a picture about it.
