  1. nice find man, i have that problem when fishing alone too, now i just have to pick one up and figure out the timer feature!!
  2. That is most excellent, i suppose the run of the mill cashier wasn't tipped off when you went back for a small truck load ! Tentative for tonight: local big K!!! Nice find and thanks for the tip.
  3. wow, now that would be rowdy, props on the finish/qualification and the fact that you made it back unscathed!!!!
  4. late 80's 16' sylvan w/ 60 hp merc, thing was a tank
  5. kudos on the senkos, i hit a similar pond where i never see anybody fishing, yet it's right in town almost. I felt wierd fishing it till the bass started rockin my bait then traffic started slowing as i was bringing in some descent size bass. It works sweet if you let it flutter weightless and then let it sit with tension and wait for the strike (that is if you have the will power ).
  6. couple of solid fish, nice job ! what hook size you usin for riggin toads?
  7. This was my latest exploit, this fish was caught on the main lake using a 5" green pumpkin sinking minnow (weightless). This expedition was mostly about trying out me and my dad's new boat (which I get limited seat time on :). However, we went upriver for the first time and I snaggled a fatty 17 1/2" smally, so nonetheless it was a pretty productive trip for us. Wondering why theres no pics of my dad, lol he got skunked, but got two up to the boat before they spit the bait.
  8. Frenzy, I know the feeling, I was using my buddy's st.croix 6'6" and it snapped during a regular retrieval, i think i was more upset w/ myself than he was with me :! Anyway at least there was some excitement and you didn't get skunked.
  9. nice fish, same situation here, anything bass that bites gets me goin!
