HI there - I'm still pretty new to bass fishing - getting into it more last year. I live in Denver and fish a 150 acre lake that is about 20 feet deep at its deepest, though I am planning on trying some larger reserviours this year also.
It seemed like Mid/late April through early June was great but the bites really dropped off after that as air temps started to constantly be in the low to mid 90's plus.
I'm psyched to hit it again this year but am thinking that I really have about 7-8 weeks of "prime time". I'm sure there are skilled anglers here that can land'em just about year round, but for the average guy like me - is this true or should I be viewing other options (maybe bigger lakes)?
