Very similar to #6. A lot deeper though. The wierdest thing was it was fall, and i didnt hear any leaves being kicked or walked on. That part always kind of freaked me out. I always tell myself it was kids playing a joke. But the fact those kids would have to had thrown a boulder a little over 30+ yards makes me skeptical. I dont believe in big foot for the simple fact we have no physical evidence. Not a dead one, alive one, good picture, video. Nothing. Just some foot prints and some fuzzy pictures and videos. You would think that by now one of them would be stupid enough to get hit by a car or something. Or a hunter would spot one. There is just no good evidence.

Whatever it is, I'd keep it away from Mr. Johnson.

the 2.5 are pretty big and cast well with casting rods....so does the 1.5 believe it or not. The 1.0 may be a lil small to cast very far unless your using a lighter setup. I think lucky craft makes a 3.5 not 100% sure though...

After watching the videos and listening to the commentators, etc. The worse commentary I heard was from CBS radio yesterday at 3pm, how that call "handed" the win to Seattle. Sorry it did not hand the win to Seattle, the SeaHawks won the game period, go back erase all bad calls that would take away the TD from both teams and Seattle still wins, the won every stat including the score. The comish was on record yesterday that the ref made the correct call, it was simultaneous reception in which case the offense gets credited, however there was offensive pass interference before so that it should not have been ruled a touchdown. This guy should run for office!!!

i prefer a screw lock 5/0 for the ribbits myself. Usually a trokar or a gammy. I have never had to much luck using the double hook set up and i feel like i have to reel a little faster than i would like to keep the bait on the surface. Seems like the single hook gets me a better hook up percentage than the two hook set up.

The pickerel hater is a resident, so try to educate the homeowners if they have a HOA. Otherwise all you will do is anger the home owner and lose your fishing rights. This was not the first or the last pickerel to die at this pond. My guess is some of the home owners don't like the bass eating the other fish and kill the bass. Remember you are a guest and enjoy the fishing. Tom

Garbage. There is absolutely no way that a school can FORBID a parent from reading to their kids. The real story is likely completely and utterly different than the story that your sister in law "heard" from a friend. it's likely that the class had a group project, like a book, that they were reading in class and the teacher didn't want the students to read ahead so that they could all read it at the same time. But, forbidding the parents to read to the kids at home? Crazy talk.

You did the same thing myself, and probably many other fed up parents would have done, and all of our wives would have been just as upset with us for saying something.

Right now the bluegills in my home lake are all suspended 10 foot down over 26-30 FOW. Why? Because things with teeth have moved up on the flats and in the weeds and are eating. Lot's of bass follow them out. I don't fish for those fish, it'not my gig, and very frustrating. I still fish the weeds, and put up with a 5:1 pike to bass ratio, but the bass I catch tend to be good ones. Or I hit the bank, there are always good fish shallow, but with the low water levels, some of the best stuff is high and dry, and the spots don't reload as fast or often in the fall. On tree might only be good for one decent fish all day. The shallow stuff with deep water close by is better. They don't get way in the backs of creeks here this time of year..........IDK why. Probably cause the food doesn't go up there.

we hit Mervern today and did well. took us about 3 hours to figure the smallies out but in the end we had our way. i do admit the place hasnt been as friendly as the last 5 years.

I have a 7' M/F spinning combo. I run 15# braid with a 12# fluoro leader. This is my do it all spinning reel. The braid is a godsend over mono for me.

I cant argue with any weapon as a home defense. As long as it fires and saves your life, its good enough. The odds that you will ever have to use it are very low. Kids and animals in the house, proximity to a neighboring house all play vital roles in the weapon you should choose. Like many of you, i am more than prepared. There is a mossberg 500 under my bed with 00 buckshot. A 9mm on the night stand next to my bed. 2 AK 47s in my closet. I leave the door to my room locked. If i hear anything that sounds like someones in my house. I will gather my guns and tell my wife to get under the bed and lay flat on the floor. Im going to dial 911 and tell the person on the phone i have weapons and for the police to identiy themselves. Then i will wait for the police to arrive. I will not fire a single shot or walk out to shoot someone. I will stay behind my locked door with my wife, i refuse to leave her behind while i go play Rambo. But if my door starts getting kicked in by someone other than the police, im unleashing the AK and he will die. Being prepared is just as important as the gun you have. I have no kids or animals or anything that will be in harms way on the other side of the door other than the intruder. Now if i had kids, i wouldnt think of using the AK. Short of putting Claymore mines at your doorways and windows, nothing is guaranteed. If i had kids and such, i would keep a Taurus Judge by my bed and thats it. I have the .410 rounds to put on target, If that doesnt work, I have the .45 rounds.
