  3. A good guide for you young guys looking to get married. HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (written by kids) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. -- Alan, age 10 -No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with. -- Kristen, age 10 2. WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED? Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.. -- Camille, age 10 3. HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED? You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids. -- Derrick, age 8 4. WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON? Both don't want any more kids. -- Lori, age 8 5. WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE? -Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. -- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure) -On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. -- Martin, age 10 6. WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE? -When they're rich. -- Pam, age 7 ( Love her ) -The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that. - - Curt, age 7 -The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do. - - Howard, age 8 7. IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED? It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them. -- Anita, age 9 (bless you child ) 8. HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED? There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there? -- Kelvin, age 8 And the #1 Favorite is ....... 9. HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK? 4. I believe you handled a Shimano that was sabotaged! I will say for the price of a tournament Pro (around $150.00 street price) you would have to buy the Core 100Mg around $275.00 to get the same level of size, weight, and performance but it would hold 25% less line, and a 20% lighter Max drag. After owning both, I feel the Tournament for around $110.00 is a little nicer than a Cronarch which runs around $200.00. Dollar for dollar the Lews line produces. For someone to say the Chronarch is a dog that feels like it is full of sand is either talking about a severely misused reel, or just uninformed, or, but I would overlook that review of the Chronarch, and that is coming from someone who owned both, and not just someone that cast them both in a parking lot! They are a fine reel and it's track record shows that, is it worth twice the money for the same quality, depends how you feel about the brand. It is more like comparing the Chronarch to the Core, if you could have a Core for less money than a Chronarch what would you like. The Core 100Mg I don't own, I have used it and it is an excellent reel and I believe very similar to the Tournament Pro, will it cast light lures like a 50E, I don't know, I would certainly think so, but I can assure you the Tournament Pro will.

  5. Change out the hooks when needed and keep fishing it. White or bone is a good color. Here's a pointer 128 that keeps on ticking (catching)

  6. I love the "knot wars" on BR, but always wonder why the need for such sophisticated knots when the the old standards are easy to tie and hold everything. I don't ever use anything heavier than 20# mono or 20# braid (I do use 40# leaders at times), whether I'm bass fishing in slop, inshore or offshore in the ocean it's only 4 knots for me. Clinch, improved clinch, loop and an alberto. Knot failure is such a rare occurrence, I don't ever give it a thought. The easiest but most important thing in fishing is a good knot.

  7. We are in the process of doing business with a local bank, and they pulled up three credit reports. On two of them, my wife is listed as deceased. Here's how that happened. She co-signed a student loan for our son-in-law with Sallie Mae. In 2008, our son-in-law passed away. Because her name was on the loan, someone entered the deceased in her name, not Joey's. It's never a bad idea to check your credit rating. Mistakes do happen. It's not much fun when the bank informs you that you are deceased, or have some other problem that you really do not have. It takes over a month for them to correct your credit report even when it's obviously an error.

  8. The hammer falls next week on LAKE CHAMPLAIN!!! Bobby, I want to know EVERYTHING about the magic potion that is MEGASTRIKE FISH ATTRACTANT when we fish together. One question for you to think about: if I was stranded in the wilderness, Survivorman-style, with only a tube of MEGASTIKE, how long do I have?

  12. Another novice, bank-bound angler here... I would add my voice to what others have posted. If the bass are passive and holding down in cooler, deeper water, then slowly dragging/twitching a soft plastic sounds like a reasonable approach. Gets the bait to them, keeps it down there and provokes a strike. I know *I* don't want to chase anything much this time of year... The best advice someone gave me was to watch bassresource videos on YouTube about jig basics (I was using GYCB Fat Ikas on the end of the line). That has made a huge difference in my fishing so far this summer.

  13. My wife is a sucker for snake-oil, she will buy whatever beauty cream that claims to remove wrinkles; so when I get the opportunity, I'll take my glasses off and say "Ah, you look twenty years younger" Just the other day she told me she was excited that this great wrinkle cream just arrived, I said "it did??, I didn't see a drum out in the driveway?" She also gets very frustrated when trying to use a mirror, she says some old woman keeps jumping in front of her. And.... One day I asked my wife if she wanted to go shopping at the mall and she agreed, as we were walking out the door she asked what was I shopping for? I said I wanted to see if I could trade her in on a new model, a sporty one, with up-to-date styling, and no body damage. d**n that woman can punch......

  15. Young man, what you don't yet realize is that by the time your wife reaches the age of her mother, your testosterone will be shot, and you will not (overtly) care what she looks like. Likewise, your wife will overlook your pot-belly and your nasty farts. By that point in life you will have become close friends, instead of lovers. I love my best friend. We've been married for forty-two years,

  17. They obviously didn't do due diligence to make sure that the info regarding her death was correct. Yes it would involve more work for them to confirm the accuracy of everything they use to establish an individual's credit rating. It would make their cost of doing business much higher. That's all well and good until their error seriously impacts someone. Suppose an erroneous credit rating prevents Joe and Mary from buying their dream home, or borrowing to invest in a business opportunity. Who covers their loss?
