  1. You might not like it, I don't either, but those years Yelas was talking about BASS was lurking in the shadows it had always loomed in being it a spectator un-friendly event. People wanna see that stuff so it IS good for the sport. Only bass fisherman would want to watch someone silently reel in fish all day long.

  2. Last year I watched the game at a local pub with the boys. This year, I hope to watch a couple of them play at Super Bowl. Live.

  4. He may be charismatic, and a great leader and all that, but you have to be able to pass the ball to be an NFL quaterback. Its painfully obvious that Tebow can't pass. The option offense will not work for any meaningful length time in the NFL. Denver needs to figure something out, this is the big boy leagues, not pop warner. I was embarassed for them, watching them still try to run the ball while they were down by 4+ touchdowns. Put tebow at fullback, draft or trade for an actual quaterback.

  6. Man, that game is what the NFL is all about. I didn't really have a dog in the fight, but I sure enjoyed watching both teams playing their hearts out. Congratulations to all 49ers fans!

  8. I'm an avid Saints fan, but the Niners flat beat them, hands down. That TD by Smith at the end was awesome to watch. I guess I'll go cry in my beer and hope for next year.

  9. That was one of the best play calls I've seen in a long time. It was executed just perfect.

  10. The Niners are the truth. Vernon Davis is a freak. Alex Smith is finally doing his thing and when he ran in that TD, I had no clue he was that fast. Great game.

  12. 3/0 widegap is a good all around size. I like the Bass Pro thick nickel plated. You get 25 for $7, and if they get dull just toss it and tie another. I have no problems as far as fish coming off the hook, so I wont spend a fortune on hooks.

  13. I'll be on the river most Saturdays, but you don't need another lure, you just need to fish with me sometime. We're killin' 'em right now, both with live bait and artificials. Last weekend by buddies had a "five best" bag of 27 lbs fishing artificials only. My boat wasn't close to that, but we still boated a lot of fish and several nice ones. The river is on fire!

  15. I have made 1 and 2 piece resin and pop molds, but always from soft masters. Also have made water soluble rtv molds with mixed results. I have some alumilite to make some rtv molds, but haven't done it yet. RTV will be hard to "tweak" after set, but with hard masters, the rtv is the better one to use. POP while delicate, is easy to "tweak". Resin requires dremel and a steady hand. If your lure designs can be made by "frankenstiening" some exixting soft baits, the POP and resin would be options again.

  16. I'm gonna give you some of the best advice that I have. It's based on over 20 years personal experience and sadly it took me about 10 of those years to get-a-hold-of my own advice....If the lake you're fishing is so "pressured" that it is giving you frustration problems in finding and catching fish, then find a body of water (slough, pond, smaller lake, etc.) that's not so "pressured" and start catching instead of fishing.
