  1. I have a Zeiss Ikon Symbolica, 35mm camera that is at least 60 years old. I know there are some members who are into photography that might like it as a collectors item. While it looks like new, including the hard leather case, the shutter is stuck. It could be something as simple as lube that turned to gunk or something more serious. I have no idea. No batteries, built in light meter. It looks just like this one, including the case and I believe a light meter or range finder clipped onto the strap for the case. I have no use for it, so if anyone is interested let me know. No charge, and I'll even pay the shipping to get it to you. Merry Christmas.

  2. To All Bassresource.com Members, Although Keri and I feel like this year round, I thought I'd take the time this holiday season to put it into words. We feel truly blessed you are here The people here are about as good as they get in the world, and we mean that!. Though we have met a few of you in person, we consider all of you our friends, and would welcome you into our home any time, but I think we'd have a better time in a bass boat! May this season find you and your families safe, happy, and healthy, and of course full of the love of the spirit of Christmas. And for the New Year, may our best days of last year be our worst days of the next. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

  3. Merry Christmas to all and a wonderful New Year: Twas the night before Christmas, when out on the lake All the Bass were a studying all the lures not to take. The Chug Bugs, the Senkos, the spinner baits too Were some to look out for, these but a few. While back at my house, I was snuggled in bed; As visions of big ones, danced about in my head. A cast to some stickups, a cast to some weed Produced bass after bass, it was a Mecca indeed. I arose in the morning, tree lights twinkling bright My eyes full of dream dust, I was quite a sight. I gathered the family, and sat them down near For the tale of the bass trip, I wanted all them to hear. I regaled them quickly, with all that I caught The big ones the little ones the lunkers I fought. Their eyes were like saucers, as they listened with glee But there thoughts were on presents beneath our great tree. As I finished my tale I heard from my wife Merry Christmas dear family, And George, Get a life.

  4. Im not impunging your credibility or insulting you, you just seem to take things the wrong way. Either way, my way may be different than yours, but maybe its you that seems to have an issue with things. Im just stating the way that Quantum recommends to properly clean your reels as to get the proper performance out of them. To avoid the chemical reaction you have to clean them this way. Im sure that you are very good at what you do, Im not saying you are not. Do what you do with your reels, but im gonna give people an option, thats what a forum is for. Its not YOUR forum, everyone has a say in what is questioned on this website I do believe. So please, enough with the attitude, its not necessary.

  5. Now for the "learning" part. Hopefully some of you guys who've been using side view can comment on these. I'm pretty certain the while spots on the left are fish, especially since my buddy and I caught several small bass on Senkos in that area. Not as certain about this. I suspect the cloudy areas are bait fish, but I didn't see any (visibility was only about 2 feet at the time). I'm still playing with the different frequencies, 455 KHz and 800 KHz. The submerged bridges in my first post showed up better with the lower frequency for some reason. I think the lower frequency works better in shallow water, especially further from the boat. The higher frequency shows more detail over submerged stumps in 10 feet of water or more. Again, any comments on these would be appreciated.
