  1. I would not knowingly take advantage of a mistake, whether it be by Mom and Pop's down the street or WalMart. When an employee marks something wrong and the company takes a loss on that item, someone has to pay the cost. That someone is me, and you, and everyone else that shops there. The notion that it's OK if it is a big store and not when it is a smaller one does not work for me. If it is wrong, it's wrong-plain and simple. If you feel that you are being taken advantage of by the big corporate store, take your money somewhere else. It is not right to cheat them because they make a profit on you. Just my opinion. 2. I can honestly say that I have been screwed at the register more often than not, due to buying stuff for the 3 screaming kids. I always look at the receipt at home and yell G-dmit! You think I ever got a call and them say, "Hey Bro we made a mistake"?... LOL PS, Local Ma and Pop's never!!!!

  5. Since they're water resistant, I use mine to wipe my while fishing. After wiping, I rinse the lisence, fold it and put it back into my wallet. You can get a good 3 or 4 poops out of your license.

  7. Dan Weldon, the 2011 Indy 500 champ, died today in the Indy Championship race in a catastrophic 15-car wreck. The driver's unanimously decided to end the race, and instead do a 5-lap, 3-wide tribute to Dan. All the crews and teams lined the race track shoulder-to-shoulder, many in tears, as the field slowly paraded around the track. Truly a sad day in racing.

  8. Below are a few basic things you can do to find structure, cover, and forage from the bank, and hopefully you will find fish near these items. Fan Cast a lure that can be dragged on bottom. By counting it down in different spots you can determine an approximate depth in each of those locations and you can slowly map out the bottom of the waterway and find drop-offs, humps, holes, points, etc. One of the better techniques for doing this is a carolina rig. This can take some time. Keep your eyes peeled for rocks, timber, stumps, and vegetation that can hold fish. A good quality pair of polarized sunglasses can help immensely in finding these areas because you will be able to see down into the water. Watch for baitfish activity like bluegills or other sunfish feeding. Bass should be close by. Watch for birds like herons and pay attention to the areas they choose to feed which is another indication of baitfish. Humminbird makes a wireless fishfinder that you can attach to your line. This will help you to find fish holding structure as well.

  9. I have been skunked on probably every body of water I have ever fished including far north Canadian lakes. Never two days in a row. Stuff happens. A good skunk-in helps you appreciate what a rose really smell like.
