I knew you would give your opinion in this thread, but please don't again.

I'd go back to 10000 B.C. and find me a hot looking cavewoman. Woman back then didn't talk back and you were allowed to club'em over the head.

Had Friday off so I headed up to the summer place Thu. night. Got out for a few hours and the high winds limited where I could fish but I got into 'em pretty good. Got this one and several others on a wacky rigged senko: Just before dark that evening, got this guy: The next morning I got out just before first light and the conditions changed and I was able to throw the Rage Shad in the heavier cover. Got a bunch of keepers and had a few misses. Right before I went in for breakfast, I got these 2 on consecutive casts: The big one went 5-11. Went back out for a bit after breakfast and hit the docks. Got this guy under a pontoon boat and a couple keepers on a weightless Rage Craw. The fish absolutely attacked the bait and almost yanked the rod out of my hands.: That night my dad got in on the action. All he ever fishes is a 4" Sluggo on 8lb line. We were in some pretty nasty stuff. First he had a 5+ jump and throw the hook. Then I heard a big slurp and he had another hawg on. It wrapped around a couple pads and I tried to go over and get it but as I reached down to pull up the pads I heard him yell "s**t"! and his line broke. He seemed to lose interest after that. Here he is with one that didn't get away. He was still ticked and didn't want me to take the picture: The next morning I hit the docks with the Rage Craw again and man do they nail that thing. Got a bunch but no monsters.: Great couple days and it was good to get out with the old man. Rage Craw under boats and docks was new to me but seemed to work great. Still love the Rage Shad as #1 though. Wacky rigged senko kills but alot of shorts.

I experience sort of the opposite, especially in Club Tournaments - to hear the reports from the water, you would think we were fishing the Dead Sea - nobody has caught anything, until we have our check-in at the end of the day. Several years ago, when my Son was about 10, he fished as my partner in an informal tournament. I was struggling on the day and, to hear it, so was everybody else. With about an hour to go, I managed to hook one that was about 14" - after netting him for me, my son said (trying to be like the big boys) - "D**n Daddy, you may be winnin this thing" - I told him, "No Son, wait until you hear what these other guys who said they weren't catching anything actually caught". He has been confused about fishing tourmanents ever since.

LWD, I will share my thoughts for what it's worth. First don't believe everything you hear at the ramp. As hard as it is to believe not all fishermen are as honest as you and me. I have been told some truly unbelievable stories of numbers and size. I enjoy the conversation, but take most of it lightly. Next, there are some really good fishermen out there. Most of them have spent many hours on the water putting into practice what they have learned from countless more hours of study. There is no substitute for this. Last, enjoy the process. Continue to work to improve, knowing fishing well consistently takes time and effort. This is what makes it such a great sport in my opinion. Good luck.

Happens all the time in the rivers I fish. They will take you under the rocks. I had one on where I got the fish all the way to the bank before it decided to take one last dive under a rock.It got off and I ended up getting snagged under that rock.

I feel the state messed up when they went for the murder charges. They should have gone for a lesser charge (even though they included them as additional charges), and Casey may have gone for a plea deal. We may then know what really happened, instead of trying to read between the lies. I honestly think it was a case of an accident of either overdose of "Zany the Nanny-(Zanex)" or too much Chlorophyll being applied to knock out Calie, so Casey can party. Then she moved on to weaving lies to cover it up. She reminded me of Susan Smith who drowned her boys and made up the carjacking story. Having smelled human Decomp in my former job, it is unmistakable for anything but human decomp. You can actually think back and recall exactly how it smells. All in all she had her day in court, and was found "not Guilty". I don't believe it is the same as "innocent", but not "guilty beyound a reasonable doubt".

Ha, sorry. I literally know nothing about the case except from an article headline i read yesterday entitled "Party girl goes on trial"... now that i think about it that's pretty messed up huh? meh. edit: is this going to be like the OJ thing? where everyone is obsessed with it and we are still going to be hearing about it for years after? 100 bucks she gets a reality show.

Zoom ultra-vibe speed craw. or plain speed craw...great action. and a lot more for the money than the Rage (although they work well too)
