A small lake trout from the depths of Lake Tahoe

A new experience for me to jig in 190ft of water. Braid with a 3 oz squid shaped sinker/hook combo tipped with a minnow. Fish blow up like a balloon when coming up out of the depths. The guide poked a hole in the side , deflated it and left them go. Said that it wouldn't hurt them. Amazing how easy it was to feel a hit. If you get a chance try it.
