Chain Pickerel... they put up a good fight.

They sure do though.  Love it when I hook into a nice size pickerel.  Last year I felt bad for my wife though cuz that's literally all she caught and she really wanted a bass.  I got her on some largemouths this year though so its all good.

I gotta say, I get a little aggravated when I think I've hooked a big bass and I pull out a pickerel. Especially when it happens multiple times in one day.

Totally agree with you.  An all-pickerel-day can be kind of annoying.  Ideally, I would like to be catching lots of bass with an occasional pickerel of 2 thrown into the mix.
