Glenn May Founder Glenn May has over five decades of experience fishing for bass in tournaments and recreation across the country. In addition to creating and operating the world's leading bass fishing website, he has written numerous articles about bass fishing and created hundreds of instructional videos teaching millions of anglers worldwide advanced bass fishing techniques and tactics. |
Already an avid angler when Keri met Glenn, she dove headfirst into tournament fishing on a path to the national level in the Women’s Bass Tournament (WBT) and Ladies Bass Angler Association (LBAA) trails, collecting numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies leading to four Female Angler of the Year championships and placing 3rd overall in a male-dominated open division. |

 Kent Smith Since 2005, Kent has been a moderator on BassResource, making him the most seasoned crew veteran. Known for his prowess as a trophy bass hunter, Kent has decades of experience hunting down big bass. |  Jeremy McConnell Hailing from Michigan, Jeremy joined the forums in 2016 and began moderating in 2023. He grew up walleye fishing, and now fishes exclusively for bass. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his wife and son. Read more about Jeremy. |
 Clayton Westgate Clayton joined the forums in 2010 and began moderating in 2014. He began fishing "while I was still in diapers" and hasn't stopped since – fishing year-round in even the harshest conditions. He started tournament fishing at age 16 and has developed into a mighty tournament angler, taking top honors in both boat and kayak tournament circuits, including Angler of the Year titles. |  Russell Woods Russell has been fishing since age 2. He joined the forums in 2016 and the team in 2021. Russell has a Bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee in wildlife/fisheries management and puts that knowledge to use in his career and while fishing for trophy smallmouth bass. While bass fishing is his primary passion, he's also skilled at targeting many other species, both fresh and salt water, making him a well-rounded angler. |

Known for his thought-provoking and often humorous perspectives, Barone writes about the great outdoors and the sport of bass fishing for BassResource. |  John Neporadny Jr. John was inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in 2016. He started his professional writing career in1981 to devote all of his time to writing about freshwater fishing, especially bass and crappie. Since then, his articles have appeared in several national and regional outdoor publications, including Field & Stream, BASSMASTER, B.A.S.S. Times, In-Fisherman, BASSIN’, CRAPPIE World, Fishin' Magazine, and BassResource.com. |  M.L. Anderson Margie Anderson has been a bass fishing enthusiast for decades.  Pete Anderson Pete has been relentlessly chasing bass ever since he could remember. He fished in hundreds of bass tournaments for nearly three decades, racking up numerous wins and Angler of the Year titles along the way. He's been a professional outdoor writer for over 20 years and is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the New York State Outdoor Writers Association. He spends most of his time writing about fishing and bass tournaments. |  Tyler Brinks Tyler Brinks has been fishing bass tournaments for more than two decades, achieving two-time BFL Co-Angler Points champion, BFL All-American qualifier, three-time Washington TBF State Team Member, and three-time Angler of the Year titles. He is a known expert at using fishing electronics. He is a professional outdoor writer for Major League Fishing, FLW, BassResource.com, and WesternBass.com, plus several other magazines and websites. |  Alan McGuckin “Guck” -- as most folks call him -- will be quick to tell you how blessed he feels each day to have worked on the inside of the sport he loves for more than 25 years.  Tom Morrison Tom has been an outdoor writer since 1989. In addition to writing, he also provides consumer and trade show seminars on sportfishing new product features, tips, and techniques. He also instructs students in his sportfishing classes. He has guided smallmouth bass trips in Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. |  Carol Martens In 1988 Carol Martens and her (now famous) son Aaron fished all the west coast bass fishing circuits as a mother and son fishing team. Over ten years, they garnered numerous awards, including Tri-State Champions and many Angler of the Year Awards. In 1996 Carol and Aaron each went Pro, launching their famous careers. Carol has been an outdoor writer and featured speaker for over 25 years. She’s a member of the Outdoor Writers of California, serving as a Board Member, President, and now Secretary. |  Mike Gnatkowski Mike has been a professional outdoor writer/photographer/book author for more than 40 years. His award-winning images and articles have been honored by the Michigan Outdoor Writers Association. Mike is also regarded as one of the top river guides in the country. Western Division Champion and a nine-time state champion. |  Jeremiah Bagwell Jeremiah is an accomplished tournament angler winning numerous tournaments and Angler of the Year titles, along with several runner-up AOY titles. For over 30 years, Jeremiah has chronicled his experiences and shared his knowledge with bass fishing enthusiasts worldwide. |  Scott M. Peterson Scott grew up hunting and fishing in the upper Midwest and found a passion for tournament bass fishing. As a result, he earned multiple Angler of The Year titles and championships. |  Roger Lee Brown Roger has over two decades of experience fishing as a professional tournament angler and fishing guide. He is also the founder of The Bass Fishing School, teaching hundreds of anglers a year about advanced bass fishing techniques. |  Dan O'Sullivan Dan started fishing bass tournaments in 1993 and became a professional outdoor writer and photographer a few years later.  Cap'n Chuck Duggins Cap'n Chuck Duggins is a smallmouth bass guide in Maine, where he spends between 100 and 150 days in a boat. He was fortunate enough to learn from the legendary Billy Westmoreland, the Godfather of Smallmouth fishing, who taught him the intricacies of smallmouth bass fishing. Chuck's knowledge and skills accelerated well beyond the average angler. |  Nick Ruiz Nick is a professional bass fishing guide in New York and a seasoned tournament angler. An avid and eager angler, Nick tries to spend as much time on the water as possible, with frequent trips to the Tri-State area's various "big water" reservoirs and lakes to further his knowledge of trophy smallmouth.
