What's Your Lure Lost To Found Ratio?

Everyone knows when fishing you'll eventually lose a lure. Right now I'm about 2 lost to 1 found ratio. I don't lose much and don't find much.

My ratio is about 1 lost lure for every 5 or 6 found. The key to finding lures, especially crankbaits, is to look in the back of rocky, windswept coves. They are generally behind the tulles.

I use a plug knocker so I don't lose very many cranks. I may break off three or four jigs a month. I had one day last month were I found 2 Stike King and 3 Lucky Craft cranks.

50-50 But I can't remember finding anything I wouldn't want to have just tossed into the water just to get out of my tackle boxes! lol

i wish i could find even 1/5 the amount of lures i lost!

Some days, I feel like it would have been more productive to bring a few rolls of quarters to throw into the lake, instead of fishing with lures. Might be cheaper that way.

I dont go shallow for lures because props and lower units are more expensive then lures. I dont lose many though because I use a lure knocker or can pop them free usually. I'd say lost to recover rate is 1-10

I find a lot of baits and even spend days looking for baits during the winter. I use a telescoping lure retriever and look in the trees and along the shoreline since there isn't much vegetation to hide the baits in the winter months. Now if you count shakeyheads, jigs, and T-rigs I lose a lot more baits than I find.
