Trickerie Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I had been having very little luck since spawning started. The weather here in FL has been fluctuating from cool to hot and back again several times in a matter of weeks. Finally, I took my grandfather out to the lake on his last day down here in FL. He had been wanting to catch a few before he left, but hadn't been able to do. I walked the shore for a few minutes, and spotted a huge school of bass looking to feed. I had a thought: a fluke! I pulled out my pearl white zoom super fluke, and proceeded to catch 2 4lbers and 8 more 1-2 lbers in about 30 mins. My grandfather also caught his PB and one other! It was awesome! Sadly, I was too excited to slow down and take any pictures lol Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 LOL, I do not blame you for not taking pictures. Sounds like alot of fun. Congrats! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 29, 2012 Super User Posted March 29, 2012 pics or it didnt happen HAHAHA..........I have pics but too lazy to upload them to my computer. Interesting afternoon, fished my #1 pond and it was dead, walked over to another and starting catching fish right away, convinces me it isn't always the technique or lure but where you are at. I'm catching some really nice fish, pond fishing at it's finest. I catch a little fingerling about 4" long on a 7" worm, I unhooked it and it was bleeding, thought to myself to use it for bait, I didn't. I'd say no more than 1 minute goes by and I see this fingerling being chased by a really nice sized bass that had it for lunch........Next time I'm going to be a bait fisherman, lol. Quote
