you guys think jb weld would be good for securing a weedguard?

I would not do it. It's not flexible, so it could break eventually. I would use a waterproof adhesive/sealant such as Sikaflex 292. That stuff will bond just about anything and will hold indefinitely.

No it will not work well. Use a 2 part epoxy. Devcon is a good one, both Lowes and walmart both have it.

You could also use loctite super glue gel, works real well.

I have used both of these and they both work well. I prefer the Loctite super glue gel just because it sets up faster.

thanks everybody for youe responses. i found some 2 part epoxy in the garage and used it. worked great but ill probably end up gettin the loctite gel, seems faster and i probably wouldnt waste as much lol

You're better off with the loctite but the Devcon 2 Ton epoxy is great and it is what I use on all my jigs that are going to get a coat of epoxy on anyway. If I'm making a jig that isn't getting the epoxy coat I'll use the gel, and remember not to use normal super glue, the reason is it wicks up the fibers of the weedguard and it dries to a white film that requires extra time to get off if you can get it off.

thank you for the info smalljaw. i think skinny bear uses superglue cus man, ive bought some of their jigs and had that white film on the weedguard as well as some of the skirt.

Super glue gel shouldn't leave a film. I think if you use regular super glue it's makes it's way up the weedguard a little.
