For all of you that have put these on your boat where did you place your transducer at?

I'm looking at putting it on the bottom of my jackplate.

I prefer to mount them on the splashplate cover if possible - works great like this. You can mount them on the lower side frame of jackplates without the bottom cover, but you tend to get some beam kickback from inside the jackplate frame.

Thanks for the link Al. I knew there had to be an aftermarket company making splashplates for various jackplate brands but never could find them.

Your welcome, Todd. I looked a several of their products at a boat show in Knoxville, Tn. They appear to be to be top quality as well as look good.........................Al
