jeremyt Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 My buddy Jason and I met up at my house at 8 and headed to the local power plant lake with his daughter and my son. Get there a little after 9 and launch. Get into the hot ditch and make a few casts. Jason gets a 2 # on a spinner bait. In the mean time his daughter is just racking up on Bream. She caught a total of 24 of them. We keep pushing further up the ditch, under some pipes that we had to lie down to get under and another bridge. We get furhter up to where the power plant has a fence around and start throwing shakey heads. In 4 hours we caught a total of 56 bass. I caught 25, he caught 18 and the rest were spread between his daughter and my son. Nothing was over 2 pounds, but it was absolutely non stop action. You could do no wrong. I think you could have thrown a bare hook and caught fish. It was by far my most memorable trip ever. My 6 yo son was casting out a shakey head and letting the current pick it up and catching fish. I am ready to get back down for some more. Quote
