Big-O Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 OH it's Foggy Again, You know I love it! Oughta be the name of a Song Found one more SLAUNCH before the New Year. The Rage Lobster trailing a Big O jig was the meal ticket again and I guess that set up has been one of my favorites all year, I think it fits my style of fishing really well... Thanks 2011 you were good to us! I'm taking a break from the water today through Sunday because my GrandBoy wants to go whack a Pig before the holidays are over. Guess I'll have to take'em www.ragetail.com Quote

Shane Procell Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I'll be honest Steve.....I have never seen a bass that big, even in a tank. Do any of the places like Bass Pro Shops ever ask you to donate one of them monsters? Quote
Big-O Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Years back, I would donate fish to a boat dealer who had a large aquarium. When mistakes were made and the fish would die, it bothered me so now I believe that releasing the the fish exactly where I caught them ASAP is the right thing to do to preserve the resource Also I don't turn fish in to the Share a Lunker program for similar reasons. From what I understand, a very small percentage of those donated actually are spawned successfully. If those same fish were released immediately after being caught, their spawn would be more successful and that same lake would receive a huge benefit. Guess I'm off on a tangent, but I am different like that and I bet you've already figured that out www.ragetail.com Quote
