I use Megastrike, though I don't consider it an "attractant." The bait itself is the attractant, and once bit, the Megastrike seems to get the fish to hold longer. I also like to use it as a lubricant. For hollow, soft swim baits, I lube up the hook shank and the belly with it. For hollow frogs and hard swimbaits, I lather the whole bait in it.  It helps by allowing the bait to move in the fish's mouth, and clearing the hooks for a better hookset.

Kick n Bass, Bang or YUM.Yum does not stay on as long though.

x2 on the Yum.  Yum would be an even better scent if it just stayed on a tad longer.

My other favorite would have to be Mega Strike or Smelly Jelly.

Just last week I found a jar of Smelly Jelly that was tucked away in a gear bag a couple years ago. I decided to bring it along that day and, man, I forgot how long that stuff stays on your bait! I've been using the YUM garlic spray for a while now, but I'm going back to the Smelly Jelly Bass Feast.

For jig trailers I have been using JJ's Magic for the last couple

of years. For all other soft plastics, MegaStrike. I recommend

using JJ's Magic outdoors, at home. Pre-marinate you baits and

put them back in heavy, sealed plastic bags.

MegaStrike by contrast is VERY user friendly and can be applied

as necessary. In addition to helping to hold a bite a little longer,

MegaStrike is a great lubricant. It should be used on your hardbaits,

especially the bigger swimbaits. BTW, a tube of this stuff lasts forever.

Give it a try!

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA

There's always scents in your home that work great for fishing. Here's one for you...

*WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 1.Unscented plastic baits (Yamamoto Senko, Berkley Prower Worms, Worms bought in bulk from your local bait shop, etc.). 2.Glad Zip Lock sandwich bag. 3. 1/2 Teaspoon of minced garlic.

*WHAT YOU DO: Put the plastic's in your Zip lock bag, add you minced garlic, seal the bag & store in the fridge til the next morning. Go fishing! BEWARE! THESE SOFT PLASTIC'S WILL USUALLY NOT LAST MUCH LONGER THEN THE DAY YOU CHOOSE TO FISH.

I hope this helps you a bit.

;)

GOOD LUCKS TO YOU IN CATCHING THE "BIG KAHUNA."
