Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 24, 2011 Super User Posted August 24, 2011 I am going to pick up a spool of Suffix 832 50# braid but wanted some opinions on color. The new White, Green or Lime? I don't use a leader. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted August 24, 2011 Super User Posted August 24, 2011 Whatever color looks good on your rod/reel. Or if your a line watcher what ever one you'll see better. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 24, 2011 Author Super User Posted August 24, 2011 I am a line watcher but I don't want the fish to be line watchers. Quote
s13john Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 i use lime green on my t rig rod, fish dont seem to mind. Quote

s13john Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 yup 50lb i love the line. if you are worried about visibility a black sharpie will do wonders. make sure you use a superline hook or you will straighten them out about every 4 fish. straight shank hooks work best, the wacky rig hooks will see to not straighten out as easy but they can. endless Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I use green but I'm using 832 for frog fishing and like stjohn13 said sharpie. I need to put one in my tackle box. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted August 24, 2011 Author Super User Posted August 24, 2011 I never thought of a sharpie before. I bet that works great!!! Quote
northern basser Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Don't get green if you are a line watcher. Very hard to see. Get a brighter color and do the sharpie thing. Quote
coachdog Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I used the sharpie idea yesterday on 30 lb PowerPro yellow. Worked great. Quote
