I have been fishing this swim jig allot! I would like to start buying the heads myself and making them. Does anyone know where I can get this exact head from?

Who's head is that? Out of all the molds I've seen and companies that sell heads I've never seen one like that. I have seen alot of them close to that but not exact.

I bought this from Daves tournament tackle at one of there shows. But now that I think of it he may be pouring his own jig heads.

You will never find the exact mold as it was probably custom made for the manufacturer. That is a very very close to a Snootie jig.

Get a mold and make your own!

Skirt will not hold on to that head very well. Thats another reason I like the hidden weight heads.

Bill,

When I started pouring jigs I never hand tied and only used rubber collars. Back then the Snootie jig was one of the first molds I bought. I never had a skirt slide down the collar. I assume you are questioning the ball end collar on the jig. Now I currently hand tie all of my jigs and I still don't have a problem with the skirt on that jig. I will agree with you that the ball end collars are not as good as the barb, ring and barb or holder collars, however I have never had any issuse wih them. I too like the hidden weight heads as well.
