Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted May 28, 2009 Super User Posted May 28, 2009 I've used things similar to this while offshore fishing for dolphin/sailfish/marlin. They look great in the water, but it's almost too much of a PIA than I'd like to deal with. I'd rather spend a couple hours rigging up baits instead of dealing with the tangles that I've had on umbrella and spreader rigs. Quote
BARON49_Northern NY Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This is an umbrella rig, we use them for trolling for Stripers. Bluefish will knock the hell out of them too. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted May 29, 2009 Super User Posted May 29, 2009 Would probably work very well. However, in MA they'd be illegal, as well as other states, I suspect. Maximum is 2 hooks (lures) here per person. Quote
