Hinkle2891 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 oh... my... GOD!!!! carolina rigged roboworms were killing today. I got to catch my very first fish with my new pole. only landed one, (lost the 2/0 hook and i believe that the rest were too big) bit it was electrifying! Quote
Super User Dan: Posted July 11, 2009 Super User Posted July 11, 2009 wait, if they were killing it, why did you only land one? what happened? Quote
Hinkle2891 Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 well, i lost the rig with my 2/0 hook, and all i had left was a 5/0.... so i'm pretty sure that's why lol. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted July 11, 2009 Super User Posted July 11, 2009 A 5/0 shouldn't be too big for a smallie to get into its mouth, though Quote
Hinkle2891 Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 well i dunno then. i mean, we were getting bit alot, but we only landed a total of 3. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted July 12, 2009 Super User Posted July 12, 2009 OMG! Indeed! Roboworms have become my No. 1 drop shot producer. I've been using them now for my second season. And I love them! Check out my latest Quabbin (7/9/09) report in the "Northeast Bass Fishing" section below. Most of these quality smallies were taken on the Roboworm, on the drop shot. The balance on Senkos. Between Roboworms and Senkos, I can take 1- 2 doz. quality (3#+) smallies every time out. Great plastics! And just to throw in a slammer, I HATE Gulp! Used them last week too. As soon as I stop using it and switched back to the Robos, I starting catching again....and again....and again! Quote
Hinkle2891 Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 ya for real. i'm so picky about my soft plastics. i love roboworms, zoom, and yum. i bought some outlaws, and some other off brand and just didn't even trust it! Quote
