steezy Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Many thanks for Glenn for the great spinnerbait video and tips! I have never been a big fan of the spinnerbait and therefore never had much success fishing it. That is until I watched Glenn's spinnerbait video. I know the veteran bass fisherman probably wont gain much from it but I has changed my opinion of the spinnerbait. I fished it exclusively this afternoon and caught a lot of bass by throwing it into the most awful looking places. I did make a big mistake by not keeping a check on the condition of my line and lost a big one when the line broke near the bait. I wont make that mistake again. My hit to cast ratio was over 30%. It was almost as exciting as topwater. Thanks again Glenn for the great video! Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 He knows his stuff, that's for sure! A spinnerbait will go into places most would never think it could and come out as well! Quote

Little Luey Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I started this season with the purpose of learning the spinnerbat and the shaky head. I have yet to put time in with the spinerbait and I know I should. I saw the video also and got a few good things out of it so I will be trying them soon I hope. Quote

tnbassfisher Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I hope that I can make myself take the time to learn how to fish a spinnerbait. Great video please don't ever take it down. I will want to watch again inthe future. Quote
D4u2s0t Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Video came out great, what do you use to edit? I love spinnerbaits, I throw one every time I go out. My favorite thing about them is that you can cover so much water in a short amount of time, and they just produce. I do however have a problem with weeds, if I don't keep the spinnerbait just below the surface in weedy areas it always comes back with a big clump. I always see people saying how weedless they are, the ones I have are not though lol. Another plus about spinnerbaits is there's absolutely no mistaking a hit. Feels like getting caught on a log lol Quote
