SW Florida Kid Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I am afraid that if i kiss one I will want to mount it. ROTFLMFAO!! Hilarious! Quote
3H Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Nope, I give them a nice pat on the side and always thank them. Quote
Sara Courville Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Yes. Every single one. My grandpa used to always take me fishing but one day we went bass fishing. Not long later he passed away and that was the last trip. For 7 years (from age 9 - 13) all I can catch are bass. So, I catch the fish, kiss it, and release it. I believe its like kissing my grandpas tradition bye one last time Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted September 28, 2017 Super User Posted September 28, 2017 No ~ But I will sometime apologize for the putting at least one hole in it somewhere. A-Jay Quote
Bassin' Brad Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Never kissed one.....but I think the big girls like to hear how good they look.... 1 Quote
Super User bigbill Posted September 28, 2017 Super User Posted September 28, 2017 Nope no kisses for fish here. Too many unforseen germs nowadays. I had a little pickerel, a very aggressive 12" try to bite me a few times while trying to remove my crankbait he inhaled. These guys can be freshwater sharks. Any fish could bite right? No kisses for fish. Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted September 28, 2017 Super User Posted September 28, 2017 Never on a first date. Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted September 28, 2017 Super User Posted September 28, 2017 Sometimes, if it's a memorable catch. Good fish always get a "thank you" from me. 1 Quote
Super User geo g Posted September 29, 2017 Super User Posted September 29, 2017 No, but I always thank them for coming out to play. 1 Quote

Cool story though. . . .I was such a fat a** back then ? Oh the egg on my face. But in my defense the thread popped back up today like it was recent. You're a young buck, you still have time to get some more 10+'s. I'm an old man. I might have to go to Mexico to get mine. Quote

Ever do this ? It's pretty weird. This proves they are looking straight at you, and not just out into space somewhere :-) Peace, Fish I do the exact same thing !! I'll catch and talk to them like "hey buddy how are you today. Oh your a little fatty aren't you, or the hyper ones I say calm down dude chill out " and I have moved them like you said and watch there eyes on you.. it is creepy. They just stay locked on .. like they are planning there take over ! Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted September 29, 2017 Author Posted September 29, 2017 @the reel ess No sir you don't. . . . Just come to FL for a week! We got em too 1 Quote
Super User Koz Posted October 13, 2017 Super User Posted October 13, 2017 A good reason not to kiss a fish - you might die: " The man was kissing the Dover sole in celebration of his catch when the six-inch (14cm) fish wriggled out of his hand and jumped into his mouth, a friend said." http://www.***.com/news/uk-england-dorset-41598493 Quote
Alan Reed Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Don’t kissing fish but will thank the big ones. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted October 16, 2017 Super User Posted October 16, 2017 I do admit I sweet talk the ladies to land them. Sometimes it works to calm them down. But I haven't seen a mermaid yet to kiss. Lol Quote
