Ika, that is. Neither Cabela's or BPS carries them any longer. I could not find them on either site but GYCB has them in stock so he's still making them. Anyone know why we can't get them at our usual locations? I talked to Brent at *** who used to sell a very similar product and he had a problem with his supplier so he's looking for a new supplier. I know a lot of us love these baits but I guess now we're forced to pay about $8 bucks a pack from Yamamoto. If anyone knows of a place to buy them, it would be much appreciated. Tight lines everyone

Tackle warehouse carries the fat IKA in 19 different colors.

The price is the same as GY direct, but shipping is MUCH cheaper. Only $6.75 for orders under $50, free for $50+. GY charges $8.50 for orders under $50, and it just keeps going up from there.

Go figure. By charging full retail, GY gets a MASSIVE profit margin from online sales. You'd think they would give us a break on shipping, but noooo...

Gary must need another private lake @ his estate. Can you say "bend over"??? :D

I'm looking for an alternative, but it'll take time.

(i do know of a guy that sells them ; it was either Dirtbag, or Backstabber Tackle. LOL ;D)

Ahh....I've been to your site recently and wondered where the * went.  Good thing I got some before they were gone.

Sounds like bad news :D  I'm used to seeing them my local Dick's, but last time I was there the GYBC section looked smaller...  I'll have to look more closely next time.  Was there a Kinami version?

BPS still shows the Kinami Palm Tree on their website.  Same as a Fat Boy IKA, but from Kinami.  Hi's tacklebox shop also carries the GYCB version and for less than anyone else I've found.

Definitely one of my all time favorite baits. I can usually get them from a local bait shop, but the choices are limited. Thanks for the info from TW!

The Fat Ika has been a top producer for several years.

I am surprised Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops aren't

carrying them any longer. Perhaps that is an advantage

for the rest of us!
