After 4-5 days of high winds the wind finally switched to SSW & I was chomping at the bit to get out. Surface temps were 55-56 degrees. Caught all fish on jerk baits over 18-25 feet of water. Beautiful day.

Great Smallies Dwight !

You were "chomping at the bit" because you knew where they'd be. . . . . . .

Great fish as always Dwight!!  Thanks for sharing.  I like your "RW"  pose.  Do you have any length or weight measurements on those pigs?

How deep of a jerkbait are they hitting?

I was using lc pointer 100 deep diver & lc staysee. I didn't measure but did weigh them on a boga. The smaller one was 5 plus & the bigger one was just under 6.

Beautiful fish. That is a large girth on the fish in the second picture.

Man, gorgeous fish Dwight. If I knew I had even a shot at catching smallies like that, maybe I'd go out fishing more than twice a month.

Holy Smokes, I'm running out of "attaboys" Dwight, but that's a fine brace of groupers! ;D
