-nick- Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I tossed out my 55 dollar matts hard gill...let it sink to the bottom, and then catch something so i couldn't get it out! :-/ I now know how it feels to throw 55 dollars into a lake and definately won't be slow rolling anymore expensive swimbaits. Next time it happens (if it is warm enough to swim), cut your line off and tie it to a nearby tree. Go in after it, following the line down to the lure. Lure retriever isnt much good from the bank, but sometimes they work. Quote
