I'd like to, get in to swim baiting, but all the ones i see are like 20 to 50 bucks! So could some one advise me a cheep, yet effective swim bait, that's under 10$. it would be nice if it was slow sinking and had a weed guard, but not a necessity.

Very hard to find any good swimbaits under $10.  Upgrade to $20 and you'll expand your horizon.  Look at the 3:16 soft baits.  The mission fish, mighty minnow, etc are great and effective baits.  Mattlures baits are great as well.

Swimbaits aren't cheap!@!!!!!!!

I have said that due to Texas waters being stained, you can get away with cheap Storm Swim baits.

I can catch stripers and Hybrids on them and they don't tear up as bad as some like to say.

If I was fishing clear waters, then cheap is not the way to go.  But for the majority of the waters in Texas, not a bad way to go.

You can't beat 3.50 for 3-4 in a bag.

Red, can you post a pic how you rig the Lake Fork swimbait, please?

In the central section, Tom Redington, a Lake Fork guide posted a how to rig post on Live Magic Shads.    maybe a few pages back.   Great read.
