Super User Sam Posted September 10, 2008 Super User Posted September 10, 2008 Arbogast Mudbugs. I was thinking about opening a tackle store that sells discontinued lures and other fishing products when I retire. Then I remembered that retail sucks. But it was a fun idea while it lasted. Quote

Primus Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I only have 2 left of the Excalibur Fat Free Fry in the Advantage series, I believe it's their shad color. It has a white belley, clear sides, black back and a reflective piece of metal on the inside. This bait is an absolute fish catching machine in clear water. If any one would like to sell.... Quote

EdKras Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 It would be nice if there was a way for manufacturers to tell us they were discontinuing something before they did. It's one of the reasons I'm such a slave to the bait monkey. You never know when your favoritr bait or color will be discontinued. 4" power worm black/blue tail Quote

This is my buddies favorite lure, he has me scouring the Earth in search of more. Some of the lures mentioned I have seen for sale recently? Specifically the Berkley power slug 6" and the black w/blue tail 4" power worm. Looks like we all need to dig out the discountinued baits we no longer use for some trading. Allen Quote

rboat Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 My favorite spinnerbait was made by a company called Bulldog. I got it about 14 years ago. It was a single spin colorado in a strange color; gold, copper, gray color. It was a catchin machine until i lost it to a snag. never have found another even close. :'( Quote
