booneangler Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 So i have heard all this talk about the Sebile magic swimer im thinking of getting one in the 3/4 ounce but my question is where can i fish this do i just fish it around docks and such or what kind of structure i mean where i live the water temp here right now is about 83 degress. Where should i fish this lure at in my lakes? Quote
Megastink Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 windblown main lake points, anywhere bass are schooling chasing baitfish. Quote
Bassboy15 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I fished it the other day in rock, caught a 2lber. I really like the action and the flash it sends off when it curls up on the fall. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted July 18, 2008 Super User Posted July 18, 2008 The sebile has a great swimming action, I only wish it sank a little deeper and stayed deeper. That problem can be solved with a sinker in front of it, which doesn't hurt the action of the lure, but it causes tangles sometimes. Quote
Megastink Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Try sticky weight on the front hook, or suspend dots, or even a bigger hook on the front, depending on the desired rate of fall. Quote
Lavrax Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 ok...recently i got the whole sebile lure series and i have to say they are some of the most unique lures i ever got my hands into. Superb castability and unique action. The small size magic swimmer is a bit ok (because of its size), but bigger sizes are great.. I got my all time PB (on spinning) using one of this lures 2 weeks ago, and i will soon break it again Quote
