I'm on day 5 of coughing, runny nose, sore throat, itchy/watery eyes and no relief in sight.  I'm also on day two of 100 fever.

I think I'm being punished for all the bad things I've done.

My rod building days are over. And even if they weren't, there's no way in heck I could wrap with all this snot dripping.  My fish wraps would drown

Well as for your sore throat I trick i know is eating honey. Works well for some scientific reason I wont explain.

And heck, the best medicine there is is a solid bass, I say toss a pole for a while

I'm feeling much better than I did last weekend, although, I'm still a bit stuffy, and have a slight cough.

I haven't taken anything, except 6 advil over 5 days.  I take medication for an irregular heart beat and can't take any over the counter stuff, except maybe a coughdrop.

  I phoned my cardiologist and he called me in a scrpit 2 days ago.  I went to the pharmacist to pick it up and they proceeded to tell me that the new script may interact with my current medicine, in a bad way.  I asked them what I should do.  They said it was up to me.  Now I'm paranoid and haven't taken it.  I go see the doctor tomorrow morning.

Exactly.  He'll probably force feed it to me tomorrow but at least I'll see him in person to make sure he reviews my chart correctly.

Good luck with getting rid of it.  It took me a while.  Theres some nasty junk floating around down here.  It hit me like a ton of bricks when I got it.

My wife got hit..she's sicker than heck too now.

May i suggest Chicken noodle soup,she ate some and she is feeling a little better.Make sure you drink that broth with it.

I do the same thing when i get sick...chicken noodle soup will make you feel better.Something is in that chicken noodle soup.

BB, I have been sick for a week too. The chest congestion will not go away. Constant coughing and rattling chest. Yesterday, tired of coughing(ribs are beginning to hurt) I stopped at a pharmacy and picked up some Robo DM.I never take any medicines.

I took 2 teaspoons and for the next six hours I had some kind of bad reaction to the medicine. My heart was beating like crazy and I shivering like I was freezing cold. I almost went to the emergency room. Makes me want to think twice about all those over the counter meds. I got an appointment with the doctor today. From now on, I am going to the doctor and get the shot and be done with it.

1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice with honey - drink it with a spoon work surprising well.

I feel a lot better today but still not 100%.  Probably 80%.  I went to the doctor this morning too.  He gave me a tri-pack to take.  Hope you feel better soon too, sleep seemed to be the best thing for me, when I wasn't coughing up a lung.
