Super User burleytog Posted April 7, 2010 Super User Posted April 7, 2010 Got a Curado out of the boat this evening to reline. Wife was looking at the 'pretty green paint'. She has zero experience with a casting reel. So I tied on a 3/4 oz. sinker, activated four brakes, cranked down the spool tension and handed it to her. When I left for work, I still couldn't get it out of her hands... :'( Guess it's time to buy another two or three. Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 all I heard was "I have a valid reason to buy new reels" Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Burley, I have learned recently that there is no chart/white, citrus shad, black/blue, etc. There is just "Thats cute. Thats pretty. Oh I like that one its pink and I like pink so the fish will too." ;D Quote
Captain Obvious Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 "Thats cute. Thats pretty. Oh I like that one its pink and I like pink so the fish will too." They also like shinny things hence the best lure for females is a pink spinner bait with to silver willow leaf blades Quote

Also, doe's anyone else notice how women are drawn to the new lime green type color? She tried to buy a lime coroled vacuum that was $20 more than a black one. ha! i feel bad now that i cheaped out and made her get the black one.... Quote
