Super User burleytog Posted January 9, 2010 Super User Posted January 9, 2010 The Deadskins will win a Subpar Bowl about the same time the Raiders win one. IOW, never. Quote
VolFan Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 The offensive backfield is the least of their worries. They need a few o-linemen, and to either bring along or acquire some receivers. Moss and (I love the guy but he's getting old) Randel El are TERRIBLE. They could also use a couple decent safeties, who know how to actually be safeties and not guided missiles. The guys they have right now are more like scuds. Quote
nubasser Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 If they can strengthen the O-line Jason Cambell will have a chance.Right now opposing defenses are getting ti him before the snap does.So I'm not gonna say keep him but a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning would have trouble surviving, let alone completing passes with this O-line.Of course I also am not saying he's as good as they are. Super User burleytog Posted January 9, 2010 Super User Posted January 9, 2010 Washington has far too many holes for Shanahan to make an immediate impact. And has already been stated in this thread, Shanahan isn't exactly a miracle worker. Their offensive line is entirely wrong for Shanahan's system nor does he have the stable of backs that he always had in Denver. False hope is a dangerous drug. Until Dan Snyder stops imitating Al Davis, the Redskins are an afterthought. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted January 9, 2010 Super User Posted January 9, 2010 Okay Burley, your last 2 posts have both involved crackin' on the Raiders. Not cool. Not cool at all. 8-) Quote
