I was kinda disappointed in the outcome. I don't really want to see Roy Nelson rubbing his stomach in the UFC anymore. Yeah everyone knows you're fat man! Get over it! I wanted to see Marcus win too but he has no stand up. And what the heck was with the Kimbo fight? Very disappointing IMO. But at least Kimbo is starting to get his ground game in better shape. He needs to keep dropping weight so he can fight the light heavyweights. I think he would do pretty good at that weight.

I would be willing to put Roy Nelson's cardio up against most HW's in the UFC.  Looks can be deceiving.  That belly is a tool he can use, just like his fists.

I saw it quoted on another site today that they are not in there for a body building contest, it's a fight.

The Kimbo fight was a letdown, but I am still happy to see him win (even if it was not impressively.)  Houston Alexander dropped the ball on what could have been a very exciting fight.  Circling the ring for over two minutes?  WTH is that all about?  Puss...

I was really hoping that Schoonover would have beaten McSweeney.  He is another "portly" fellow with pretty good cardio for his body composition.

Yeah I am definitely not doubting his cardio at all. The guy can fight! I just don't really like him that much. But he is good and did deserve to win because he fought basically all of the best dudes in the house and ran through them. And his victory over Schaub he didn't even use the belly. He just straight up knocked him out! I'm sure we will see more of Schaub though. I was just really disappointed that Kimbo didn't let his hands fly but he knew he couldn't be careless in that fight and he HAD to win it to prove himself. I really thought he was going to choke him out too but he let go for the crowd. I am curious to see if he will go down to 205 or not.

He looked big as hell at 212 and he is already a lot of muscle.

Those extra 7lbs are gonna be tough to take off without losing some muscle mass.

I know fighters have game plans, but Houston Alexander's was ridiculous.  I was actually impressed that Kimbo kept his composure and didnt go running straight in throwing punches.

Schaub is a beast, I agree.  I read somewhere today that he trains w/ Carwin and gives him some trouble in practice.  Pretty good company right there.

Still though....Brock Lesnar FTW!!!    ;D

Oh I hear you about Lesnar. I don't think anybody in the house stands a chance against him. Hopefully he can come back to fight. I haven't heard anything lately on him. You? I was really impressed with Kimbo too. I think he showed that he does belong in the UFC with that fight. I think he needs to fight at 205 though. I know he may lose some muscle but he will still be one of the bigger 205 fighters if he can make the drop. He needs to keep improving his ground game too. He looked like he dazed Alexander with a few of his jabs too. That guy is just powerful! And yeah people can call it what they want about Dana bringing him back even though he lost in the first round on the show. This guy can fight and he will make him lots of money in the future. Smart move from a business man's point of view IMO.

I was pretty bummed about the finale as well. First off, I really wanted Marcus to beat Mitrione, but he just has no standup at all and cannot take a punch well at all. Alexander's gameplan for kimbo was just rediculous, his careers already on the downfall, and was he really expecting to get a win and move on by doing leg kicks and running away for 15 minutes? I'm glad Kimbo didn't get too frustrated and come out wildly swinging and was able to stay composed and win it. I really think it would be a difficult cut for kimbo to try and drop to 205lbs. And I agree with everyone else, yes Roy Nelson did win, but I really could care less to see him fight or not. He's just a completely boring fighter imo.

I think the Kimbo/Alexander fight was rigged. Houston has never ever done that in the octagon before. Usually he just goes at it and that's against REAL EXPERIENCED guys....heck, he knocked out Keith Jardine in what? 20 seconds? ....and he's running from Kimbo Slice? Come on man, that fight was rigged.

Dana sees $$$$$ with Kimbo in the octagon at a time when who knows whats up with Lesnar, Rampage quit and UFC is competing with Strikeforce and Fedor. The UFC needs a 'Kimbo' right now.

Roy deserved everything he got. Who cares what he looks like? The dude can fight. Period.

Exactly Kimbo is a money maker for Dana and I've felt like I've seen a couple rigged fights before so that wouldn't be the first time probably...

And yeah Roy did but when he won his first fight and said he wanted a whopper and he wanted it his way? That annoyed me otherwise I wouldn't have minded him winning so bad because he is a pretty good fighter. And I kinda felt like maybe the whole lesnar thing is a set up as well because it would change peoples point of view about him because a lot of people don't like him because he fought in the the wwe or w/e and the way he's acted before. So I have the mindset that if they give him some disease and he makes a recovery and still holds the title? That's going to bring in some fans for him.

I'm just kind of in the mindset of I can't believe anything on TV is real anymore because I've believed a couple of my favorite were real, and later found they were scripted.

Another rigged fight I think is griffin v ortiz 1 because it was Ortiz's first fight back and the way he whines and cries about everything, so Dana let him to win his first one. Another was one of Bispings I can't remember which one but it was in England.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say the fight was rigged I think Alexander was just trying to confuse and frustrate Kimbo, causing him to lose any form he has and start throwing wild bombs. Thats just my opinion of course. I just think Alexander wanted to take advantage of a new guy and exploit his bad knee in the process.

Yeah, I agree, Roy was a little irritating at first. But looking back now, he did look like a 'man among boys' (fighting). He pretty much mowed right over his opponents. He may have matched up better with one of the other guys, who knows.

I actually thought Schaub was going to splatter Roy and win it all. Boy, was I wrong.

Did you guys pay attention to the Frankie Edgar fight? Man, that dude is lightning fast with his hands and has great power for a lightweight...a small lightweight at that. He may get the winner of BJ vs Diego this weekend. Cant wait for that one.

I think the Bisping fight you're talking about was against Matt Hamill. Hamill clearly won the fight but with the UFC promoting/showing in the UK that night, the UK's Golden Boy Bisping got the decision. That was BS.

I have also thought a couple of the fights were rigged. But I want to believe that Kimbo wouldn't have been alright with a rigged fight. If it was rigged it was kept between Alexander and the UFC. I thought the fight between Kimbo and Nelson was rigged as well so they could keep trying to bring Kimbo back the whole time and keep everyone watching and anticipating his come back.
