Super User flechero Posted September 1, 2009 Super User Posted September 1, 2009 Well, it is happening. Time to dust off the old resume and get a haircut! ...lol I'm trying not to look at it as a loss of a job, but rather a way for the good Lord to push me to where I'm supposed to be! He has always provided for us and I don't expect that to change. Luckily we have saved for such an "emergency" so things aren't dire by any means. I just hate to start running down the Emergency Fund. I'm excited to get moving and see where the new chapter will begin! I might have to curb my appetite for fishing/hunting/shooting gear for a while. :'( Quote
Super User Dan: Posted September 1, 2009 Super User Posted September 1, 2009 Best of luck, flechero. Quote

Daniel My Brother Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Ditto what everyone else is saying. Here's hoping this is a blessing in disguise. All the best to you and your family! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted September 2, 2009 Super User Posted September 2, 2009 I wish you well, relax a bit, clear your head then go for it. I too was in the real estate biz from 69-73 and did well at it, but ran into some bad luck......best thing that ever happened to me. No long winded story but I met a man while in real estate (today they call it networking) who offered me a job in an entirely different field, shortly after I started my own company. Could possibly be a blessing in disguise, don't wait for luck, luck is created by hard work. Quote
Super User flechero Posted September 2, 2009 Author Super User Posted September 2, 2009 I sincerely appreciate the responses and the PM's!! I agree that this is what's supposed to happen, and there is a master plan at work... it's just harder to be patient now that we have a baby! Thanks again! Quote
