Koop Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 This is making me sick seeing Favre in that jersey. Quote
Koop Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 He is good!!! Think I could have told you that. : Quote

NewAngler Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Let me preface by saying I fell asleep with about 4 minuted left in the game. Those vikings last night were the best all around team playing 60 minutes so far this year. Super. Bowl. Champions. That is, of course, if the Redskins don't represent the NFC. Quote
llPa1nll Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 He needs to go away period. He isnt making that team good that team was already good before hand. Look what he did with the Jets last year. He needs to go away already... Quote

Super User flechero Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 He needs to go away period. He isnt making that team good that team was already good before hand. Look what he did with the Jets last year. He needs to go away already... Love him, hate him or care less... his stats are pretty solid. He was accurate, decisive and in control last night. There just aren't that many QB's who can say that. Certainly none that were, or were going to be on the Viking's roster this season. I would counter your argument and submit that the Jets made Favre look bad last year. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 Until Brett tore his bicep (?), the Jets were on fire last year. There aren't ten quarterbacks worth a poop in the entire league. Brett's one of them. That said, I'm tired of all the drama, too. However, the man loves the game and it shows! Leadership is the key, but it appears to me that Farve also has risen to the occasion when we're talking on field performance. 8-) Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 I still think he's an ego freak but as long as he stays healthy , he is a differance maker. Quote
Koop Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 Are you kidding me? Favre was so d**n good he went to Sears at half time and bought a TV. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 Vikings have an awesome defense. They're looking like playoff contenders. With Rodgers and Favre's numbers last night, if the packers would have had a healthy offensive line it could have been a real battle royal. As it was, Rodgers was basically playing with one hand tied behind his back. Him and Favre both had awesome games; if only Rodgers had a little protection last night. The injuries are killing us. Super User roadwarrior Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 It's just being reported that last night's game set a new record for viewership on cable tv. 8-) Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 I watched the game but only saw about 2 quarters worth. The other half of the game I was looking at the ceiling rolling my eyes. Quote

If my grandma had nuts she would be my grandpa. All that matters is winning and Favre can still get it done and rodgers, not so much. Im i long time Bears fan and i hate the packers and the vikings.. And as much as i hated that S.O.B. he has always been fun to watch and i hope he has a stellar yearl. Except against the Bears of course. Hands down the greatest QB that has played the game. IMO. detroit1 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 The pack needs lineman on BOTH sides of the line. Holy crap, i could complete a couple of passes if i had thast much time. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 PK, if your grandmother had nuts, she's be a freak. Love him or hate him, the man gets the credit. Detroit1, no kidding, a couple of times I thought I caught him dozing while he waited for a hole, our guys jumping around like a fart in a mitten instead of pushing him out of the pocket. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 another NFL record for Farve. He is the first player to beat all 32 NFL teams. WOW!!! Quote
