Uncle Leo Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 After last weeks lost to the dreaded Pack Attack it was sweet to see them beat the SB Steelers in a good game. DA BEARS! ;D Quote
fish-fighting-illini Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I'm glad they did something right or that could have been a long winter. I was contemplating taking up ice fishing no less! Quote
aceman387 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 what a good game for a change it kept you watching the whole thing and not channel surfing like some bears games. anybody have an idea why the running game is not up to par yet ?i figured with cutlers passing it would open up more holes. Uncle Leo Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 I believe that the other teams are keying on Forte, they do not want him to have another year like last year. When Peterson was in he did while but of course Lovie will aleays stay the course. Every 3rd and long play it seems last a running play, go figure. Quote
Little Luey Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I don't get to see many Bears games since I moved here but this one sure was a good game. I think it is just a matter of time for the running game to start going and the passing game will continue to improve. They still need to spend some picks on WR or get a proven veteran for next year. Pitchinkid Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I love being a bears fan living in steeler country right now. Even after the first week with 4 int, they still had a chance to win. Things are looking good for the monsters of the midway. Sucks for B. Urlacher though. Finally was 100% healthy and now the wrist. Quote
detroit1 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 The bears were VERY LUCKY. I like how they "blocked" both of those easy fieldgoal attemtps, in which either one would have won the game for the steel.... Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 21, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 21, 2009 It was fun watching the Bears win. They're definitely a very physical and hard-hitting team. Great game! Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 21, 2009 Super User Posted September 21, 2009 They can definitely beat up on the Packers if Cutler is on but I don't know how they will handle the Vikings. Either way the Saint's will probably represent the NFC in the Superbowl. Their offense is just unstoppable. Quote
FordNFishinLover Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Whos the bears?? :-? :-? :-? Quote
swilly78 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Those Bears didnt give me anything to complain about this week. Its almost like not being a Chicago fan, I love it! Quote
Little Luey Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Whos the bears?? :-? :-? :-? oh, you know, the only 12-4 tems in the NFC North come January. ;D Quote

Marching down the field kicking the winning Field Goal with 20 secoinds left and recovering a fumble on the kickoff is what won the game. No matter if two field gioals are missed with the score tied there is no win until someone else scores. At best it is a tied score, a win is a win, I am sure any team would take one. Quote
