Big Phish Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Did anyone else find this to be a little ridiculous...actually a lot ridiculous? Televising something like that just seems like an absurd thing to do. They put that poor 11 year old girl in front of millions of people crying about the death of her father. What's the point? That's something that should be held among family and close friends, not a bunch of people watching T.V. to stare at and discuss. I can understand doing an event of some sort for the public with some performers and what not, but the actual memorial with his casket in the middle of the Staples Center? Anyway if I ever become famous for some crazy reason, I'm definitely going to write up a will that strictly prohibits this. End Rant.

Sorry guys, but I have to close this thread. Too many people have strong opinions about him, and I get a flurry of complaints whenever his name is mentioned.
