ATTENTION ALL OKLAHOMANS!

The bright light and smoke you see outside is not an out of control brush fire certain to burn the state to the ground.

REMAIN CALM!

It'll go away as soon as Mike blows out all his birthday candles.

HB Mike.   ;D  8-)

Happy Birthday Mike. Tell everyone what you bought(I bought) this morning for your birthday. At least I paid the deposit to hold it for you.

Don't you keel over and collapse before you send me my money.

Expelling enough hot air to blow out some candles isn't a problem for Mike.  It comes rather naturally even at his age.     :D

Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone.  It's great turning fifty!  At least is was thirteen years ago.  I want to assure everyone that the burning candles on my cake contributed very little to global warming.

To celebrate my special day I (through Fishfordollars) bought a 2004 Tracker Tournament V-18 with a 150hp Mercury bolted to the stern (For you idjits out there, the stern is located somewhere near the back of the boat.)  Now I can run with the big dogs, on big water.  Burley, eat your heart out.

Jack, thank you so much for all that you did for me today.    Just so everyone knows, Jack spent an hour and a half driving up to take a look at the boat, then spent another hour and half going over it with a fine toothed comb (including compression checks), then made a down-payment on my behalf, then had to drive back home.  Friends don't come any better than that.

BTW, Bassin, if I had tried to put out the fire with my oxygen tank I would have blown the house up.  I simply beat out the flames with my walker. ;D

I'll still outrun you.  Have fun moving all of your crap over from the old boat.   ;)

A 150hp on the back of an 18ft aluminum tracker will flat out haul butt.  Heck, my 19 tracker max's out at 135hp.

Yep, he should be able to hit 50-55 MPH easily.  That hull is about 200 lbs. heavier than yours though.

Many thanks for the sentiments guys, but the only good thing about having birthdays at my age is the alternative of not having one.   ;D
