Ok guys I have been on here awhile but still haven't figured out how to do this.

    How do you quote somebody?

I have seen posts before that have the original writer of the reply and the time they wrote the reply.  I have tried creating a quote like that but I doesn't ever come out like that.

Please tell me how to qoute somebody.  I think I will make my replies easier to read.

I'd hedge a bet that information is in the "Help" section.  ::)

    Thanks a lot Glenn!!!

You probably think I am lazy but I forgot all about that section.

Actually, no I don't think you're lazy.  I figured you (and others) forgot about that section.  So a little reminder is all I meant.

OK, Glenn.  I'm just lazy.

How do you "double quote"?

For example, I've seen posts where someone has posted more than one person's quote within their post.

Any idea?

If I am correct you just quote someone that has already quoted someone else.

I think he means this type of double quote.

The workaround I use is just to hit the "Quote" button, then copy everything (CTRL+C) in that typing space, paste it (CTRL+V) in a Word window, then click "Back" to go to the previous page, do the same thing again. Then you can copy from Word to the new posting section and get double quotes.

I'm sure there's an easier way, but this is what I do sometimes.

You mean like this? Where I quoted you for your questions and quoted me from earlier? To do that you open up another Internet Explorer and go into the same thread, hit quote on the other post you want to quote. Then you copy that and paste into your original browser window with the other quote.

You aren't still looking for the 'any key' on your computer are you?  ;)

j/k. The quote button is in the upper right hand corner of every  post. Click it.
