Super User Tin Posted December 17, 2008 Super User Posted December 17, 2008 Anyone see this garbage going non stop on ESPN this morning? > Only a matter of time before he is doing push-ups in his driveway again... Quote
bmadd Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Caught it this morning. The only maturing he's done is that he's quit crying and moved to b*$%#ing. Stephen A. Smith sure added to the fire by asking him if he knew that if the Cowboys didn't win out that all the blame would be on him. Quote
Fisher of Men Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Funny how it took most folks two years to realize he's an idiot! Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 17, 2008 Super User Posted December 17, 2008 Isn't there a way for him to dry up and blow away? : Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 17, 2008 Author Super User Posted December 17, 2008 Isn't there a way for him to dry up and blow away? : Would like to see Rodney Harrison catch him coming over the middle for a pass with his head down. Quote
basser89 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Funny how it took most folks two years to realize he's an idiot! I've been a Cowboys fan for many moons now. I didn't want T.O. when they first talked about getting him and wish he wasn't on the team still! Too much talk and no where near the performance he's getting paid for! Yeah, we had our problems with Michael Irvin, but at least he was dependable on the field! Quote
atx_newbie Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 He could be a lot worse. Sure, he may run his mouth a little, but he's not carrying unlicensed pistols, discharging said unlicensed pistols in crowded areas, doing drugs, beating women, etc... Actually, except for the drama, he behaves the way we wish our athletes would... But on the field is a different story. I've never seen someone drop as many passes as he does, or put in such little effort on some downs/routes. Here's hoping the Cowboys go after Brandon Lafell or Demetrius Byrd from LSU in this upcoming draft. Those guys may not be gamebreakers, but they put in the work, that's for sure. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 17, 2008 Super User Posted December 17, 2008 Who cares about the off field drama. TO draws a double team, and when he doesn't he catches more often then he drops, especially in the end zone. The dude has 9 TDs and 34 FDs so far. I'd say that's reason enough to put up with it. You have to realize that a lot of this is manufactured by the media, and feeds into Jones' idea to keep Dallas in news. Any news is good news to him. Quote

JJ likes hearing the media talk about his team whether it's good or bad. And if T.O. was smart enough, he'd realize that him drawing a double team is actually a compliment to his skills and the main reason Romo throws to Witten all the time. Witten really should change his jersey #'s to 7-11 'cause he's ALWAYS OPEN. I've never seen anything like it. If T.O. could get a grip and come to understand the TEAM concept, everybody would be better off. Quote

As a cowboy's fan I'm glad to have TO. His presence on the field is a positive and I couldn't care less about his off the field antics. He's basically just a star athlete that still acts like a 2 year old. He needs attention and will do anything to get it, but as long as he performs on the field then it doesn't bother me. Quote
