Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted September 18, 2008 Super User Posted September 18, 2008 If you guys have not ordered one of these for yourself, I highly recommend you do so very soon!!! I got mine about a month ago andI have been wearing it while riding my motorcycle to work in the morning. Currently, the temperature is about 55 degrees on my way to work. Not that cold you say? Well, try going 60MPH, no windshield with that temp and it suddenly becomes a very different story. The sweatshirt makes it feel like just a slight breeze!! 8-) The thing I really like about it is the fact that I can still wear it in the afternoon when I get off work. It still feels light enough that I can wear it in 80 degree afternoon temps too. Go to his store and check them out. I guarantee those cooler fall mornings will feel much more pleasant. Quote
fishbear Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I would order one in a heartbeat, but he does not carry them in small wall tent size yet!!!!!! ;D Quote

Low_Budget_Hooker Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 So you want one so bad you are dieting to get it??? I'm flattered. When you are ready for a 2x, let me know. When that one is too big, I'll upgrade for free to an XL. A rewards system of sorts Quote
fishbear Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 LBH you are on... I started last week walking 2 miles every evening after work, and trying to watch what I eat... trying to convince my wife to quit cooking like she was taught her entire life, is the tough one.... ;D Quote

zellamander Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Thanks LBH Hey, if you ever want to make T shirts or tank tops let me know. My fiance is the head accountant for a company that makes them. We could work out a little something for you. Quote
wagn Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Well here's the Pic of my 6lber. Unfortunately I realized that the fish is so big that he blocks out any logo of the shirt...lol. The pic of the smaller fish will show that I'm not lying, you can see the sleeve logo on that one. Thanks again for the shirt LBH. Quote

Super User burleytog Posted September 23, 2008 Super User Posted September 23, 2008 What makes it better than this? Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted September 23, 2008 Author Super User Posted September 23, 2008 Cant see the pic at work Burley...just an "X" No answer for ya there. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 It's the Under Armor Hoodie. (He's just looking for a reaction, ignore him,... he goes away ) Edit- changed my mind, I'm going to field this one. A. Yours is $5 more. You're very first welcoming comment about my stuff was that it was too expensive. Which is it?? B. Yours is Polyester, mine is 100% cotton C. Yours is 7.5 oz, mine is 9.5 oz. Much thicker. D. Mine is 2 way stretch fabric which allows for layering. The UA is 4 way stretch, not very comfortable in my book and terrible for layering. E. The 4 way stretch only looks good if you have the body to carry it off,....good luck with that Burley The majority of my customers are actually fisherman,...not joggers. F. And the most obvious, Mine are LBH hoodies, those aren't (Not a knock on UA, they make some nice stuff) Now if you wanted to just be a punk, you should have compared it to the North Face Hoodie. You won't get an argument there, I love their hoodies and am actually looking into offering my stuff embroidered on a few of their items next yr. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted September 23, 2008 Super User Posted September 23, 2008 When I did the Mook shirts, I was shocked at how much the first run of a printed garment costs! We had I believe 50 shirts made and the cost per shirt ( And we passed them along at cost) plus shipping was around 20 if I remeber, For a simple cotton t shirt. We were not in it for business Russ on the other hand, has to market them, advertise them ( he spponsors this site) and pay for thier printing and still cull some kind of profit, since this is a business venture. I have never been shortchanged by Russ, an if I want a 10 dollar, wash em once and throw em away hoddie, there is always Wally World. : Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 24, 2008 Super User Posted September 24, 2008 B. Yours is Polyester, mine is 100% cotton So cotton > polyester? Quote
