Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I used to ski with this kids father!!!! I've skied this course many times, 60 degree slope (avg). When you catch air, it looks like you are jumping off the edge of the Earth. This young guy is ELEVATED! In my day, there were only certain courses you dared to get upside down on, this certainly wasn't one of them. It just shows how 20 yrs of kids pushing the envelope has created a whole new criteria for "good" Quote
Bassboy15 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Just wondering how are your knees nowadays? Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted August 15, 2008 Super User Posted August 15, 2008 LBH it gets better. Wait until all your plumbing goes haywire(If you know what I mean). Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Just wondering how are your knees nowadays? Knees, neck and back, all in check. The energy is actually taken in the stomach muscles. Like a car, the knees and feet are like the tires, the stomach and back are the suspension. Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 15, 2008 Super User Posted August 15, 2008 You are not older. You are just better. And as you move up the ladder towards retirement not only will you get better but also richer. So be proud of your age and wear it with pride. Quote

Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Check this one out, you can see what it looks like when you are approaching one of those jumps (during the replay, the launchpad at the bottom of the run) from the business side. It's a lot steeper looking down than from the bottom, looking up. Spending the night surfing down memory lane, lol. Quote
fish-fighting-illini Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 ok, I'm officially "old" lol You said it we didn't Ofcourse every last one of us agrees wholheartedly! Quote
Olebiker Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I love those custom built, regularly spaced moguls. You want to feel old? Wait until you go to confession to a priest that is younger than your children. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted August 15, 2008 Super User Posted August 15, 2008 Those moguls are a piece of cake compared to the ones that are at Killington Bear Mountain Outerlimits Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 OL is nice because you get a mix. The top 2/3rds is random, public made moguls but from the last cross road down, the entire left side , they make 'em nice nice. Zip and unzip. I always was a bigger fan of the fiddle though. Not as many speedbumps,...I mean, ...er,....tourists...... Quote
