who else has to shop at these places, or get clothes in those sizes?

man what a PITA! I got lucky with my new rain gear from cabelas last month that they had the tall sizes in the bargain cave. But i have gained almost 30pounds in the last 6 months and now pants are real hard to find! I wear dickies for fishing and work and go through like 20 or 25 pairs a year. I ordered some a month ago and they finally showed up >:(. Its dang hard to find 38 X 40's at he mall, I know that much! At least I still wear regular size t-shirts and have enough tall-long dress shirts to hold me over for awhile. Not really sure what my point is :D, but who else has to deal with this crap?

My uncles, the "shorty" is 6 '4" and must weight 250 with ease, the tallest is 7 ' and must be 300 lbs. easily, no need to say that I feel kinda undernourished when I 'm with them.  ;D

20 or 25 pair of Dickies a year :o  Try another brand that won't wear out as quick.

The only thing that is tougher is carhartt. but they really don't last me that much longer. Work is pretty hard on my clothes, and I don't wear them after they get too messed up with holes or paint/caulk/concrete/glue/whatever.

And at 20 bucks a pair, its all good.

The funny thing is that when he was young he used to drive a Mini Cooper, seeing him getting into and out of it sure was a interesting experience.

IMO Carhartt is the best when it comes to outdoor/work clothes. Just cant beat the durablility you get for the money. Love my jeans and hoodies. I'm only a 34x32, not exactly Big and Tall.

I'm only 16 and I'm 6'2" 175lbs. :P and I just go to Tractor Supply to get all my clothes and Carhartt workwear.

I like Carhartt stuff because it seems like it lasts forever, and I need that because I work on a couple farms throughout the year and the work is very tough on clothes... I actually have a pair of carhartt jeans that have lasted me 3 whole years of farm work.

I have the same issues but on the other end of the scale, same frustration though, I hear you Bizz

You just need to shop in the kids section and you'll do just fine.

Hey Fourbizzle: I had to laugh, because before my Bariatric Bypass 5 years ago, I wieghed in at 439 and used to always shop at Tall And Big Man's Shops. I once made the remark that they shoul just call it FAT GUY"S STUFF, because in all the years I shopeed ther I never saw one Tall Guy,, YOU MUST BE THE TALL GUY!!!!!!!

You may want to try this; Wal_Mart has a brand of work clothing, the same color as Carhartt clothing, they are half the price. I used to wear out the inside thighs of my pants like water when i was huge. They do not last as long as Carhartts, but close enough so that if you are going through that many pairs you may wind up saving a ton!!  They have em in "Big Mans Sizes" also

Most in my familiy are from tall to quite tall ( men all over 6 '2", women over 5 '8" ), I 'm the the only midget. My tallest nieces are 6 '2" (  :o ) , lil Raul is 4 almost 5, he 's a  3 '7" tall which is quite tall for such a young child. He 's gonna be quite a big guy in the future. Olga ( my daughter ) appears to be short but my wife was the same way at the same age, her uncles still call her "chaparrita" and the chaparrita is 5 '10" now.

In the 9th grade I was 6' 2", the first day of school 10th grade I walked thru the door at 6' 5" and now at 57 years old with my birthday the 23rd of this month I tip the scares at a danty 300 pounds. My coaches in football, basketball, track and field, as well as baseball always loved me!

When I turned 16 I was 6'4" around 200 lbs. and not long after bought a 59 MG A. I could look over the windshield or drag my knuckles on the ground. Then it was a problem with clothes. Since folks have gotten larger, not too much of a problem anymore. When I came home from the Army I had lost so much weight, in shirts, I wore 15-15 1/2 with 36 arm length. That was a problem ;)! Back up to 200 so I really don't have a lot of problems. Guess the only one is clothes cost more at big and tall stores.
