Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 So I go in for a physical this afternoon and the doc is checking me, and tells me I have a mild case of bronchitis?!?!! I don't even feel sick! What the heck is that all about? I've had bronchitis in the past and remember how I felt. Regardless, no fishing for me this weekend. > Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Heck, go for it. You have already been to the doc. How much sicker do you think you can get. Everyone knows you always feel better while you are sitting in the waiting room. Are you a wuus? I saw your picture with Paris the other day. Bet she has got the cure...LOL Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 1, 2007 Author Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Hardly. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I'd call her if I had the number... Quote
Guest muddy Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Hey Rob, The Doc can tell this by your lung sounds. You may have picked up a bug in Brazil, we are not usually exposed to here in the states, better to be safe than sorry. DR. MOOK HAS SPOKEN Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Hey Rob, I dated a girl here in Texas in high shool that left for hollywood and made a ton of movies after she got out there. I think you can still buy each one for about 29.95... Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 It's not that big of a deal. But it may be caused by a virus. He may have heard some wheezing which is one of the first signs of it. Take it easy for a few days and you should be fine. Do you smoke? Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Had it many times, usually takes me a month to fully recover. Do what Dr. Mook says, get better buddy. 8-) Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I always get it a few weeks after I get a flu shot. :-? Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Gotta love that Jungle Lung Fungus.... Quote
Super User grimlin Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Do treat it before it gets worst.Good to know now than later. My girl's grandfather got put in the ER last night because he didn't take care of it earlier last month. Did the doctor say anything about how to keep it from becoming worst? Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Well, seeing as how you had it before you went to Brazil, I think it may have just never cured up. You've been going non stop since you got back. Rest can't hurt but I would still be fishing personally. I'm not a Dr but I did stay at a Holiday Inn,...I even got to play Dr. while I was there but surely, this doesn't count. Suck it up, you got Jungle lung funk with a side case of something. All those kisses from the Bait Monkey can't be helping either. (Fluke-Non smoker) Quote
Super User Raul Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Doc Raul says the best way to treat that mild case of brochitis is another trip to the Amazon. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 The doc didn't spend 8 years and $100,000's for nothing. Listen to him. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Dr Ghoti recommends four ounces of Remy XO, taken three times a day until the symptoms disappear. Quote
michbass Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Gotta love that Jungle Lung Fungus.... lol, you never did tell the whole story about Paris?? Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 1, 2007 Author Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I agree with Raul. I'm packing my bags as we speak. Russ is right, I've been going non stop since I came back and things dont look like they will slow down any time soon. I'll rest today and see how I feel this evening. I'm jonesing to stick a 20+ lb striper right now. > Quote
dave Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Dr Ghoti recommends four ounces of Remy XO, taken three times a day until the symptoms disappear. The symptoms won't actually be gone, you just won't feel them. Quote
